Quake 3 engine games

i am just wondering, which of these games that use the Quake 3 engine (or updated Q3) is your favorite? if possible, explain why. ive played all of them and theyre all great.

edit: does anybody know of any other (good) games based on the Q3 engine? i cant think of any others.

Jk2 by far but next is MOH: Allied Assault, thats a good game!

JKII first because its Star Wars and RtCW second because it is a kick ass game that requires people to work as a team to win (in MP).

ooh, just to let you guys know, Thief 3, headed by Warren Spector now, is being made on the Q3 engine

I thought they were using the Unreal 2003 engine like Deus Ex 2? SUrely the Q3 engine doesn;t really have the level of interaction they'd want for something like Thief?

JKII JO is the only 1 ive played. if only the game was a lot longer it would have been a lot better.

JK2, closely followed by Mohaa, jk2 is a better all round game, not a one level wonder.

it was hard to choose between JK2 and RTCW, but I choose JK2. I really like RTCW, the cutscenes were good and it was a good game, but JK2 had the light saber.

ah, elite force! thats right. i never played it but i remember now that it uses the Q3 engine. sorry about that.

JKII followed by RTCW, and I believe Star Trek: Elite Force is based on the Q3 engine

i like JKII(duh)and SOF2, i just thought they could have done better graphics on SOF2..dont know, i havent played any of the other ones

better graphics in SOF2? what do you mean? they are on par with JO. the two games even use the same like hand shape and death animations.

^Well Star Wars has gone so bad these days I actually prefer Star Trek....and you would be surprised how many people would agree with me...

 

Anyway, JK2 made the best use of the Quake 3 engine, and I also think it was the best Quake 3 engined game .

oh really Katarn07? so Team Arena isnt actually another game? MotS? expansions add things to games, and Spearhead is actually like a separate game (you cant load it from MoH) and adds things, so i consider it basically a different game.

yes mace, this is the JK2 forums, but that doesnt mean anything to me. im not sure which one i would choose, but it probably wouldnt be JO...maybe SOF2 or TA or something.
