ShockV1.89
I got Active Spiritual Seeker – Spiritual but turned off by organized religion. Man, if that wasnt a biased test..... some of those questions obviously favored the organized religion answers and make the less spiritual answers sound stupid.... Luc Solar
47 --> Active Spiritual Seeker. That test was very biased. I hate it when they do that.
C'jais
29 - Hardcore Skeptic. Amen to that. The test is so obviously flawed. If you're a firm believer in Buddhism, you'll wind up with a rating in the twenties. The test so obviously favors faith in the biblical sense, and that of a higher power. Arses. Luc Solar
No-no-no Cjais, you are mistaken. The (just about) lowest possible score you got just showed that even though you *at the moment* are not very religious, taking the test proves that you are interested in religious matters and have, in a way, already let Jesus in you heart. C'jais
A quote from the forums of that site: America seems to be turning into a theocracy now. Atheists in this nation, when their rights are brought into question, or those of any other religion, are totally disregarded in favor of Christian morality. I was just watching the Craig Kilborn show and he commented on the atheist parent who was offended by pledge of allegiance by saying something close to, "Go back to Russia you communist bastard!" This country is a theocracy. We're just pretending it's free... but who's it free for? The Christians. Not too long ago an atheist who in Florida who had an liscence plate on it that said, "atheist" almost had it permanently taken away. Likewise, there are a number of laws in effect that utterly violate the first amendment. Such as, Bush's faith based initiatives, tax supported private *religious* schools, the law Congress enacted that added the religious reference to the pledge of alliagance, the In God We Trust that can be read on our currency, and the Declaration of Independence -- all of which violate, as I said, the first amendment. The government has absolutely no respect for it whatsoever. They might's well be up front about it and have a constitutional convention to make another amendment nullifying the first one altogether. I used to think that this was a country respecting other people's beliefs and one that did NOT have any laws respecting the establishment of religion, but I guess I was wrong. There seems to be nothing we can do, and nobody that cares. Glad I'm living in heathen Denmark.
