Surfnshannon
Well last night we finnaly agreed on the name. However Scott does say that he reserves the right to change his mind. And the name will be ... Matthew!!! Gift from God I am feeling like I'm carrying around a huge bowling ball! I'm so uncomfortable and graveyard...is !!! Suckage. In-Laws are being nice. . She is taking me to a Baby Expo this coming weekend! I have my shower on Feb 8th!! The baby's room is finnaly done. Matthew is going to live like a king! New furniture etc. He is spoiled already! I only have a couple more weeks of work since I'm due in 6 weeks! Then I go on the forums when most people do!! During the freekin daylight hours!!! Hum anything else new.. My fiance still hasn't heard if he's gotten the job at Edison!! Pray for us. It has been 3 weeks. He'll be devastated if he doesn't get it and I will have to go back to work sooner than I would want to and he has long crap hours that are unpredictable. NE ways. Baby is doing fine, he's got a name now! :::::hands out baby favors to everyone::::
Rogue15
hey that's a cool name. one of my newest friends has the same name.
Havoc Stryphe
Congrats on the name, Shannon. It is very beautiful name. How's your back? My wife is always complaining about her back, escpecially at night when she's trying to sleep. Are your feet swollen and puffy? Just a little longer, Shannon. Hang in there. You and Scott are in mine and my wife's prayers. You will soon see that your son will truly live up to the name you have chosen.
Surfnshannon
Yes tell your wife she is not alone!!! The back sleeping thing err. The only thing that seems to help is this b4 bed Tylenol, bath, massage, and apply heating pad. That kinda works for me most times. No swollen extremities, I must have avoided this somehow. Of course I really don't like salty foods and they say salt makes you retain water -thus making your feet swell! The sleep thing is horrible and the frustration that comes along with not being able to do the things you would otherwise normally be able to do...like see your feet. But its all worth it !!! Especially when we get to show our sons Star Wars for the first time!!! YAY!

The biggest pay off of all! That will truly be a day of greatness. It will be hard not to shed a tear when my boy hears that line for the first time, "No Luke, I am your father." Rogue15
are you going to have your sons watch the prequels first or the original trilogy, then the prequels?
Surfnshannon
I'd make him watch...prequels then the ot just because I want to see someones reaction to watching the films in that order. i know i'm selfish... i hope he won't go "gosh mom these are horrible movies" and he never makes it past The Phantom Menace. Havoc Stryphe
I will probably have my boy watch them in the order George had always intended. Starting with Episode 1. By then George would have released the twelve DVD box set of the Extended Ultimate Star Wars Special Editions!
Boba Rhett
Huzzah! Wonderful name. Is little Matthew going to have a middle name? It's great to hear that everything is starting to be geared for Matty's (that nickname ok?) arrival and I knew that sooner or later your In-Laws would come around. I mean, you are having their grandchild! You control when they visit him! Wow, only a few more weeks left. It's hard to believe. It could be even sooner! Any day now I imagine. I remember when my niece first watched a Star Wars movie. It was TPM. She was scared through most of it but she liked it. She even likes to dress like Amidala. Although now when she sees Darth Maul in stores she points and says, "Mommy I don't like that black man". As always, you, Matthew and Scott will be in my prayers. *gives virtual back massage* ...What's a baby favor?
Surfnshannon
ROFL!!! I loved that Darth Maul comment!!! That was great. Little matthew is probably wondering why mommy woke him up at 6:22 in the morning laughing so hard!! I'll forgive you for the hampster comment since i got a virtual massage
Rogue Nine
Yay Shannon! You know you will have to introduce the little tyke to us once he's of age. That should scare you more than Darth Maul.
Crazy_dog no.3
Eh Scott? Never mind. Nice name anyway.
Tie Guy
Congrats, thats a great name. In fact, i have five or six friends with exactly the same name. Oh, and you said your last name is going to be Taylor, right? So you should give your son a middle name that starts with an A. Then his nickname (Mat), could also be his initials.
