Darth Rythe Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 What do you think would have happened if Darth Maul killed Obi-Wan?
Sam Fisher Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Then the Force would have been balanced b/c Anakin would have not been trained.
whitedragon Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 well i wouldent have to hear anakin bitching. obi-wan: CROKE maul: i won! i won? i wasent supposed to win. sidious: well what should we do now maul: lets see how far we can toss yoda
Sivy Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 the question is would palpatine still become emperor if obi-wan died?
Sam Fisher Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Originally posted by Sivy B the question is would palpatine still become emperor if obi-wan died? Ugh..... too true......CRAP!
HertogJan Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 If darth maul had won... he would be the one choking all the admirals The rest would be the same... There would be some other rebels I think, although Darth Maul's ownage on Obi would terrify even more ppl than Darth Vader would have done.. Aah this is confusing... Cause Darth Maul would have to finish Mace etc. first, could he do that?? I mean Obi was one thing in EPI, just an apprentice, but Mace??
BCanr2d2 Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Who said that having the Sith using the force at all created balance? Balance was only acheived when they got rid of the Sith at the end of ROTJ (No EU thankyou) Only passive force users, which is what the Jedi are, kept the force in balance, the Sith were aggresive Force users, they manifested it in lightning, and chokes, etc...
Hindy Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Yeah but... oh dam this is just confusing me the more I read.
Pad Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 if maul killed obi, anakin wouldnt be trained. so palpatine's invasion on naboo would stand and possibly padme would get killed/starved/whatever. no padme means no luke/leia and thus conclude in palpatines evergrowing force with noone to stop him.
C'jais Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 So Maul was clearly meant to be killed. I'm fine with that.
swphreak Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 It wouldn't have happened because Obi is in Ep4 and that takes place after Ep1, so Obi can't die, his future is aklready planned. But if he did die, then the Universe as we know it would collapse because he wasn't suppposed to die
HertogJan Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Oh no they've created a paradox!! *gets sucked into a black hole where time stands still FOREVER!! * Don't you just love combining Monkey Island quotes??
Darklighter Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Originally posted by StarWarsPhreak But if he did die, then the Universe as we know it would collapse because he wasn't suppposed to die Exactly. If Obi had died, there would be no Star Wars. Well, cept for Episode One. Oh god, what a horrible world that would be:eek:
Kain Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Originally posted by Darklighter Exactly. If Obi had died, there would be no Star Wars. Well, cept for Episode One. Oh god, what a horrible world that would be:eek: *shudders violently* Don't even joke about that...
ZBomber Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Yes, but who says Obi-Wan had to teach ANakin. We still could got the same results if others were his Master.
Darklighter Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 No, only Obi-wan would've trained him, because all the other masters were afraid of his clouded future (and rightly so:rolleyes: ). Obi-wan gave Qui-Gon his word. Without Qui and Obi, Anakin would not have joined the Jedi Academy.

Pad Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 true, all the masters thought he was too old to be trained. its because qui wanted to train him and because he got killed obi took responsibilty for it to teach anakin. but as obi would get killed aswell, anakin would be just a normal guy in the big star wars universe.
Darth Rythe Posted May 9, 2003 Author Posted May 9, 2003 NO STAR WARS! Dont' even say that. *gets out stress ball*. Well what if obi and qui gon killed darth maul and qui gon survived. probably nothing but i would like to see your answers.
XanaJedi Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 Than we did not have a guy who made a weird topic because he had notting to do. ( to score points right rythe? )
Pad Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 cool it down PrimoSidone (ive see, you do this in many thread), or next time you wont be so lucky. evryons in entitled to his/her opinion on things and they are freely to post it in here to see what people think of it. and if quigon survived? * thinks * i donno, guess ill have to see ep1 again to see what would happen. maybe anakin wouldnt become darth vader as quigon could stand between obi´s and padme´s friendship and could calm down anakin on evry situation

Yeah you should cool down PrimoSidone, no need for all those remarks...
Darth Rythe Posted May 10, 2003 Author Posted May 10, 2003 I think your right, Anikan wouldn't become a Sith. By the way I don't make posts to get points.
