Augh!!!! I cannot believe you didn't like Temple of Doom!! Blasphemy!!!!!!!

All the Indy Jones movies are treasures!!! Short-Round was in Temple of Doom!! And probably the greatest Indy quote EVER!!

"Fortune and glory kid, fortune and glory"

Although I MUST agree with you on Blues Brothers 2000 SkinWalker.

The original Blues Brothers is one of the greatest movies of all time in my book, and they should have left it alone. Instead, they try and replace Jake, and Elwood is FAT!!! He is supposed to be a skinny tall dude. Damn you Dan Aykroyd!!

The jokes were bad, and that annoying little kid was bad. The music was the only good thing about it......

Pah! Austin Powers 2 has more rewatchability than Goldmember, IMHO, even though Goldmember has hilarious jokes :D:p:D

And you guys can't say ST movies. Aren't they all better than the original one? And especially Generations  That one is my favorite (closely followed by First Contact)

So very very true. I have shut out Rocky 5 from all memory (or at least attempted to until discussed) and decided that it never really existed. Same with the TV series that ended with North and South Book III (if I believe hard enough, it never really happened and it ended with Book II)

:headbump: Realized that North and South references show my age.

Okay.. Okay .... Okay!

I retract what I said about IJ:ToD!

I must admit, there were some memorable lines and scenes... and the mine-cart ride is classic. In fact, I had a college professor for Chemistry whose name was Dr. Jones... EVERY SINGLE CLASS i was in, all I could hear was Short Round saying, "you very funny guy, Dr. Jones!"

It still wasn't as good as the other two, however.

I'm just glad that the thread isn't about "bad prequals!

man. whoever said Matrox Reloaded isnt far from the mark.

I aint seen it, but i must say that all this hype has made me "Want" to hate it. Its been pretty much spoilt for me being as there has been so much hype and bullsh!t floating around the web. I mean ffs we all knew exactly what all the characters looked like waaaaay before christmas.

Any horror movie sequel:

Nightmare On Elm Street 2-7

Friday the 13th 2-10

Scream 2,3

Halloween 2-8

Actually, I thought Halloween I and II went very well together. If you watch H2 directly after H1 it's basically like watching one long movie. Whoever thought up H3 should have been given a brand new shiny brain - one that actually works.

I also agree with ACDCFanBill...I liked Predator 2 just as much as Predator 1. 'Twas a worthy sequel, methinks. :)

Anyway...here's another...

American Werewolf In Paris. Erm...no. The first one worked (it had the right mix of horror/humour)...the second one didn't.

I thought I knew what they looked like from the last movie, but then again...............!!!

If you don't avoid the hype, then that's your problem. I learnt ages ago not to expect anything from a lot of things, movies one of them. If you go in expecting nothing, then if it is better than nothing you will be pleased.......

You haven't seen it, but you are bad mouthing it? A bit rich personally. I think a lot of people fail to understand it, which is why they seem to hate it. They expect more action, and less thinking involved watching it, the Matrix offered a challenge that the world isn't what you think it is with most of it shown as high action footage. Reloaded gives you something else later in time, with most of it setting up to Revolutions, and not all of it pure action. I think too many people are going WTF at the closing scenes, and bagging the movie for just ending like that. I saw it as it has presented something that has you thinking the entire movie you just watched wasn't exaclty what you thought it was, a bit of a magicians trick. Too busy looking at their left hand because they told you to look there, when the right hand is doing something totally different......................

People are bagging it because it deliberately leads to another movie, NOW HANG ON everyone seems to love THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and claim it to be the best SW movie, and that left with a cliff hanger and unresolved issues that meant another movie. Isn't that what they are doing with Reloaded? Consistency people! X2 is more obvious in the way it presents that there will be an X3.

Hey guys, with Disney sequels, are you also counting the Touchstone picture sequels as well - that is Disney too (So is Warner Bros now technically - AOLTimeWarner has Disney as part of the whole group)

Three Men and A Little Lady - they should've stopped with the first one and left it there.

I didn't like the first one either. :p

BTW...I love the Av. My son cracks up every time he sees that part of the film. *cough*Mary Poppins*cough*

Other sequels that sucked?

Any of the 'Magnificent Seven' sequels. They couldn't ever hope to better the first one.

Matrix Reloaded is NOT a SEQUEL, it is the middle of a story, part of a trilogy, I thought SW people would understand that. Besides it was good, very good, it was not the first movie it was different. maybe you liked the first movie mnore but you have to wait til all three are out and then you can say, great beginning, whatever ending, i did not like the middle so much.

all Hylander movies should never have been made

all Disney home video stuff also never should get made

remake of Rollerball sucked big time.

all Jason movies...especially this one in the future

with giggly sexed up students and Jason stupid.

Jurrasic Park the book excellent movies ehhhh.

most every movie sequel is bad there are exceptions

BB2000 yes poor james, what was little jimmy thinking.

I think I would love to see a another Starship Troopers

the first one was so funny, you can tell someone on set owns

starcraft broodwars. the ZERG! cinematic to be sure:D

hopefully T3 wont stink.

(strangely enough I hated, weel did not like so much the first MIB)

but I thought the second was rather good, go figure I'm an eggplant;)

lots of other stuff to be sure.

BLADE 2
