Do me, and others a MASSIVE favour!

You may or may not have heard of a game known as "Shenmue". This was originally Sega's flagship game for the vastly under-rated Dreamcast platform.

The game is essentially one massive story with about 16 chapters - and it is an amazing story. However, the game is split into several games, and we have only ever seen 2 of these emerge. After the Dreamcast went tits up, the series disappeared and a version of Shenmue II was released on the X Box recently. But now we have reason to believe that what is widely regarded by those who have played it as one of the greatest games ever, may never see a sequel. The story and game have been left hanging in the air. The creator of the game has asked us to show our support, and thus, a petition has been started. It may do no good, but there is no harm in trying.

I am appealing to you on behalf of other Shenmue fans to sign the petition and help save one of the greatest gaming achievments in gaming history.

Thanks!

NOOOOOO! NO MORE SHENMUE. SIGN PPL, SIGN!

Damn, 16 chapters...X-box 4..PS5...Gamecube4...

OH well. Shenmue is my favorite dreamcast game, and it's on my favorite systems that I have. Yes...I still play dreamcast. I don't see why it went down. It had almost as good of graphics as PS2, yet was a helluva lot cheaper.

They should release Shenmue chapter 16 with a DVD explaining what happened inbetween chapter 2 to 16. That'ld be a great idea:D

Did not sign it. I played Shenmue II on my Xbox, I bought the game because it seemed like a great idea. I sold the game back after a month, because I never played it, because I did not enjoy it atall. First of all, movement was the most ridiculously difficult thing I've ever had to put up with. It would take me 2 minutes just to be able to sit at the table that was directly to my right, because for some reason you are unable to stand still and turn.

The fighting was relatively neat, but there was almost NONE of it, so that was no help. The jobs you have to do were repetetive and irritating. The NPC's were so annoying I nearly smashed my Xbox with a hammer just to make them stop.

The only really cool part of the game I enjoyed is when you are doing something and it'll display a button on screen you have to push or face the consequences. THAT is neat.
