Wraith 8
ok... lets get you guys out of some dreams shall we? Wookies can ONLY speak shriwook. BUT they can learn other people to comprehend wookie... that goes for all languages from all species. so there cant be a wookie only counsil if people understand shriwook now can there Architects are of GREAT importance to our PA. because we cant start the PA without a PA hall.. and only a MASTER architect can make a PA hall. so i will begin as architect and a smuggler.. and i will assist the other architects to help them reach master level.. ok? deliver missions are the fastest way to money. BUT shuttles take money aswell. minimum 115 creds... when you start out... you get 250 creds... so do a few delivery runs to get money When your new to the game and you want pistol experience points.. or any weapon experience poiints.. dont go out by your self... form a group or join one.. and go hunting with them.. that way you get easy experience points and easier kills so far so good.. there will be more -Wraith 8-

UnfrozenCaveman
Also, don't pay too much for CDEF pistols/carbines/rifles. I will buy a carbine once i start the game. I'll then get trained to be a novice marksman and brawler. Then I'll go hunting. I'm going to organize something once we get settled on starsider. Everyone on naboo, meet at a yet-to-be-determined location every day/night and go hunting.

dow_30
1. We also need a lot of scouts to provide bone and hide. If you are a combat class you can pick up the novice scout, do it. You can surrender the points later if needed, but that way you can kill, loot, and harvest.....now that is efficient. 2. We will need the bone so the crafters can burn through the Artisan boxes. 3. Someone will have to get Master Artisan also instead of going straight to a specialized field. It might actually be me because I use a lot of MA components as a Droid Engineer. If anyone has questions about DE I can make all the robots except for the Master Droid Engineer robots. 4. Probots rock. They are the best combat droids in the game. 5. From an immerison standpoint, do not learn every language out there. It is supposed to be fixed, but you can learn hem all in 5 minutes. I think it is cooler when you cannot understand some aliens. 6. In beta everyone is training everyone for free, which is cool. I will always be happy to train an =A= member for free, but we should at least charge non-members (unless they teach us something, tit-for-tat). That is my 2 creds. Any beta questions post them and I will answer as best as possible.

Lord_Vessen
Yes. I have a question I'm dying to ask. How long will it take to master a basic profession. An elite profession? Also I would like to train other people. In the art of Teras Kasi. Well once I master it...

Mister E
when i played the game i started with 4 starting professions... Marksman.. for the cool actions... Brawler because i need it for smuggler Artisian... then you can make alot of stuff and sell it for a good price. Scout.. then you will be ableto harvest from creatures
Altus_Thrawn
Ok...I'm not "good" at swg, but here's some stuff: For ranged combat get yourself scout+marksman+medic. Reasons: marksman is obvious. Medics can heal themselves a bit IN COMBAT, without stopping their fighting. Scouts can harvest bone/hide/meat, and make things like camps, traps, and darts. The easiest way to get money is delivery missions-find a mission terminal with delivery over 1000 payout. use cntrl+v to see where your headed, and catch a shuttle there. Assuming the shuttle has no wait, you make around 1300 - shuttle (around 150) in <10 minutes Crafters: use quality materials-look at the materials stats In the beggining use your mineral survery tool to find some nice recources I like correllia less than naboo your screenshot: http://altusthrawn.topcities.com/screenShot0002.jpg

Sunshine Badass
Is it just me, or does it seem that EVERYONE will have to have some Scout tree in order to be successful? That just seems dumb. Really, come on now.

Mister E
well i took scout for another reason.. and i dont need it for my aiming profession. the scout is able to build a camp.. and in that camp it will heal ALL your wounds... slowly but effectively.. so thats why i never go to hospitals in beta... i just go far out of town and set up my own camp... ofcourse when a camp is build , medics and entertainers can heal aswell
Taos
You can do the destroy missions......just take a couple people with you to help you out. Like one time I did this and we all took destroy missions in the northern area......the only thing you have to remember is to make sure that you 'unjoin' the group when you get there to earn your points. As far as scout goes, that is unfortunate......I have to have it though for bounty hunter.

That kinda defeats the purpose of being in a group. If you are getting people to help you do missions then you should share the credits you get. If everyone does this then it all evens out.
