Welcome to my day.

It started out by going to sleep at 8am, and waking up at 1 pm. I am at my friends house, and I see hes gotten an earlty start on the day. We play games for a while, go to taco bell, go to lockbuster, go home play more games. We decided that it was time to go swimming, and so we did. I dive. I get out, and dive again. I throw in and retrieve all the diving rings twice. I get out to dive. I lose my footing. I slam my head on the concrete side of the pool. I ended up saving my memory by moving my head to the side. I also ended up slicing my head, and 2 hours later, had 5 staples in my head.

So, how was your day???

I don't know...he had a couple misspellings in his thread, so maybe he did come back slightly retarded!!

Jk Bongo -

I'm glad you are not more hurt. Don't worry the staples will not hurt when they take them out. I had a c-section and was scared to DEATH that it was going to hurt when they removed them. It didn't. I hope that it will not leave to big of a scar - unless you want braging rights to girlfriends about how you saved a young child from a bear attack...

That sucks BongoBob, at least you are ok, other than the staples.

I swam all day, but our pool is only a 4 foot tall by 22 foot wide above ground pool. We don't dive, we mostly float around and soak up UV rays. Occasionally I swim a few circular laps underwater.

I did have massive fun watching a silly neighbor try to rig a sailboat in a retention pond behind our house. The wind blew him over to one side. Then he bobbed around a while and climbed up on the underside and flipped it back up. Then no sooner did he get back in the boat, the wind blew it over on the opposite side. This ordeal only lasted about 15 minutes, but I almost peed my pants laughing. :D

Thank you you guys, especially STTCT. I'm happy to know that it won't hurt when they're removed. The worst part was, we hadn't swam the entire time that I was there, yet when we finally did, 5 minutes into it, I slice my head.

The Dr I had was this indian woman with absolutly no bedside manners, and did not care how uncomfortable it was. When she cleaned it, I think she used a toilet bowl cleaner, and when she stapled my head back together, I think she slammed the thing down, and she missed twice! I WANTED TO KILL HER!

Whew....staples huh....yeah i heard those were ALOT worse than stitches, especially when they're taken out. I think they use pliers to pull out the staples.....ugh....hurts just thinkin about it.

Hey did you have to get a shot in the head before you got the staples? Cause i had to for my stiches in the head too. The worst part of getting stiches is when the start to clean the wound and the start pushing down HARD to "Remove" all the "Pocketed blood"....Ugh, bad memories :p

I had a pretty good day considering I had to work.

Sorry to hear about the accident Bongo. How did your friend's parents react, etc.

If that would of happen to me at my place my dad would of said just to walk it off.

I remember two yearsa ago at my old high school there was a student rally and a few sketchs were played out by the student council on the stage. One of the sketch required a guy to slip on a banana peel (yes its corny but that was the point and you had to be there)... well the guy DID end up slipping. There was milk on the ground too (part of the sketch) so he did slip. landed on his head... everybody went silent. all the other improv actors on stage were like...errr... one went up to him and actually did the stereotipcal poking of the body thing. He lost consciencenous. after the curtains were closed he woke up but he was temporally blinded. but he's okay now.

anyways. happy to hear no "real" damage was done.
