DiRtY $oUtH™
Hi there. I know that a lot of people like to use Adobe Photoshop but I myself am more of a Jasc Paintshop Pro person. I have learned to do a lot with it but I would like to see what you have done. For those of your who use Paintshop Pro or Photoshop please post some nice pictures that you have made or edited/blended, etc. using either of these programs. Boba Rhett
I prefer photoshop. I usually stick to editing existing images. As many of you already know. Although I've made a few planets and star fields in the past few days. Here's one I have up. Planet
Clemme w/Stick
You need the "I use both" option. Anways, thats what I think. -Clemme

Rhett: That's an awesome planet...did you make that yourself or edit another pic? Well, here's a basic one that I made for my clan site: CS Clan Site Banner I have learned to make many other things though, more complicated thanks to the tutorials I have provided a link to in my signature. DiRtY $oUtH™
Wow...that's impressive...I'm gonna try to go into the program with nothing and come out with something good. (Forsees failure) But yeah man, that's real good. Would you mind explaining briefly what you did? At least the first step. That's what I would find the hardest...knowing where to start. Kinda like drawing.
Boba Rhett
I can do a heck of a lot better. There's a tutorial!
DiRtY $oUtH™
Well....that would prove useful if I had Photoshop...lol. Looks like I've got some downloading to do. Unless you know of a similar tutorial for Painshop Pro? In any case I have to give you credit...you made a hell of a planet there! You said you can 'do a heck of a lot better"...Would you mind showing me some more stuff??
leXX
@ DiRtY $oUtH™ - I've added the "I use both" option for you. @ Rhett - Excellent planet. Really nice work. I notice that tutorial is on Greg Martins site. His work is amazing. I had one of his wallpapers on my desktop for absolutely ages. I think I'll have a go at a space scene desktop myself now. Oh and, I've used both programs, and I find Photoshop a lot better. =) I've made loads of wallpapers and banners and stuff (Echo Base's banner for example) using PS, but here's one example of a Star Wars wallpaper I made... edlib
Paint Shop Pro, although I'm still running v. 7.04 at the moment. Mainly because I can't afford a real copy of Photoshop, and I hate to ever resort to piracy. Besides, I think PSP is a little friendlier, and it does 80% of what a full copy of PS does, and you can find thousands of plug-ins for it for free. StormHammer
I use Paintshop Pro 7 and Painter for all of my digital paintings. You can view the work I've uploaded by clicking on Imagination Unbound in my sig. There's a ton of other stuff I'm still working on, which I'm keeping to myself at the moment... There's absolutely nothing wrong with PSP7. It depends entirely on what you want to do with it, and you can get some very good results.
