He had a caller on who belonged to some Baptist Church out in Kansas who at the time was protesting the Harvey Milk high school, which was opened for lesbian, gay and bi-sexual students. What this woman had to say totally dumbfounded me. Of her many outrageous statements, one was that the events of 9/11/2001 was a good thing, and we as New Yorkers, and moreover, Americans, had it coming, and she was happy it happened. And that God hates America because we are depraved people. Is anyone else of the opinion that this woman is nuts? But I am of the persuasion that God and hate are two terms that do not go with one another.
