I got the DVD the other day (jeez, nearly a week ago now) - watched it the night I got it, and then had a Matrix evening last Saturday with some mates. We watched The Matrix, then Final Flight, then Reloaded - finished off with the remaining Animatrix episodes

I know I'm sad, but I don't care. I got the special HMV Trinity slip case too - very nice. My antisipation for Revolutions has grown tenfold now. *drools*

leXX
The HMV slipcase is a choice of these: Basically it's just a cardboard cover for the normal DVD case (but highly collectable). And my children are NEVER neglected.
Tesla
Are they like Special Edition or Limited Edition or just an excuse for HMV to get people to buy it from them ?? If it is, doesn't look to great, just the posters sized down and slapped on a DVD case Whats the back look like ?
leXX
Yes, they are HMV exclusive, and yes, it's just the poster, and yes it's just a way to get you to buy the DVD from them. The back is the same as the normal DVD. Like I said, it's just a cardboard cover for the DVD, nothing special, but, seeing as you can only get them from HMV, they will be highly collectable. StormHammer
Well, I only just rented the video and watched Reloaded yesterday for the first time. It's a bit like the first one...lots of action, lots of special Fx...skimpy plot. It also seemed more disjointed than the original. I think some of the characterisation has improved though, which is a big plus. But it has to be said...BAD ending. I thought it was a very weak ending. Surfnshannon
Okay guys - I was watching my Reloaded DVD and in the scene where we first meet the guy who likes to talk french, the renegade program guy he is talking to the guy below and he is taken away by a guard before Neo and Everyone start talking to the French dude. So my question is who is this guy...here is a pic of him that they had on the Revolutions website...from the new movie
Sivy
*shrugs* dunno, looks like we're going to find out though. maybe the little girl is the 'mother' of the matrix
toms
probably just another program that neo rescues from the french guy.

Well, I was never really a big fan of The Matrix. Didn't have very high hopes for Reloaded either - and when I saw it I really didn't like it. Then I saw it again (after having just seen The Matrix) and I found myself noticing a lot of things I had never seen before. I began to go deeper into the philosophical aspect of it, and really began enjoying the films on a much deeper level (and many other levels too). Now I really enjoy both the films, and am looking forward to Revolutions
Pedro The Hutt
The first thing that popped to my mind when I saw that photo was "That must be Sallah's brother-in-law whom he mentions in The Last Crusade"
Writer
I'm a little behind your schedule here. I just saw the Matrix for the first time on Monday night and will see Reloaded tonight. need I say more? Oh yes, GO ME!!
toms
it will be interesting to see when Revolutions comes out whether all these deep phillosophical and religious interpretations that everyone has read into it are actually real and come into play in the final one, or whether it is just a lot of desperate fanboys attempting to justify a jumbled, simple plot as being much deeper than it actually is. At the moment im not sure, and i'll definately watch the last one to find out, but i think that so much has been read into and speculated about reloaded that the actually "truth" is likely to be a bit of a disappointment. suppose we will find out soon... Lost Welshman
Siv, Notice how that one says Agent Smith? Instead of just Smith. Does this mean Neo is going to be fighting the original? Cool. I also saw the pic of them getting ready to fight... Just like old times I'll post it now:

Boba Rhett
My guess is that he's fighting the, "original" one that's dialing in as well.
Lost Welshman
I've been looking around. It looks like there is going to be a "super" brawl between Neo and Smith. Apparently the original smith has cool powers like Neo. He can fly! Not sure if this is true, or why if it is. I can't wait for this film!
