Hey I did something similar in HIgh school, I tarred roofs. Yeah tell me thats not hard work when you live in Las Vegas and have to stand on a roof in 100 degree weather with no shade and that the tar adds up to 30 degrees more, yeah not fun :(, but I'm glad those days are behind me...not saying that it wasn't good money, just not a good job.

Heh, I had an interview with Best Buy a month ago....guess I totally blew it because they never called me back

damn that sucks, but I suggest you go get a job at Frys or Circut City if you have them, because those stores have the best benefits(by benefits I mean discounts and what not)...and most of the time the stuff there is full of bugs or just crap in general besides movies and CD's, but my pay is $15.36 an hour and I ain't about to give that up :p.

I remember working at Best Buy.

"Come work for us! No pressure non-commission!" *a week later* "You didn't sell the service plan? Bad! Get in the dog house! No raise for you!"

*sigh*

Now I work as an after school computer teacher, dealing with old broken down IBM computers and screaming kids. Actually a fun job, but it gets frustrating sometimes.

Well I can finally say that I am proud of my job and it's title. I am a medical parts assembler. I work in a CER (Controlled Enviroment Room). I make cafiters and stents which basically are little tubes that are inserted into someone's artery. They have a little ballon in them and when they are blown up they push all the fat and cholesterol against the artery walls so that blood can flow easier. It's a cool job and I like it so far. The only drawback is that I go in at 5AM and get out around 2:30PM. But it pays well and I can say I have a real job [/end rant]

I work graveyard 10pm (pac) to 6:30 am. I work fulltime for a warehouse. I am an inventory manager - aka- Cycle Counter. I take inventory audits of the warehouse and when I'm not doing that I'm sitting at my desk bored to death and reading the forums. After that I'm a fulltime mommy. Hard work and the pays not great either. But the benefits are outstanding!
