RpTheHotrod Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 Here's a little clip of mine.... Young Frankenstein...which was a comedy back in the 70s. http://www.foxhome.com/youngfrankenstein/html/movies/../../media/y_frankenstein01.avi
CapNColostomy Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 Nosferatu. Black and white AND silent! Beat that!

BawBag™ Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 I lurve this film. For a 50's movie it's intriguing and witty. I reccomend it - even if your not a boxing fan.
Tito Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 Probably doesn't count, since it's a rather new movie compared to the others mentioned, but since it's one of the only black and white films I've seen (since I'm 14, and don't care all that much for old movies), I'd say: Schindlers List
Darth Eggplant Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 *would love to hear that soundtrack I like type O negative, maybe you can still get it in stores* anyhow Casablanca and Citizen Cane are such fav's of mine and such good movies. so is Young frankenstein and Schindlers. I will say the Elephant man to keep this thread B&W
BLG Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 havent seen alot of movies in black and white but i'll have to say Schindlers list and Young Frankenstein...

DarkLord60 Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 I don't really like old movies I like 70's and up o well.
RpTheHotrod Posted December 1, 2003 Author Posted December 1, 2003 Some of these movies are 70s and up, hehe. honestly, when it comes to good ole fashion sit down and enjoy...young frankstein always makes me laugh. If I wanted a serious type movie, DEFINETLY The Longest Day.
Reaper Girl Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 The silent "Phantom of the Opera". Not the technicolor(AMAZING TECHNICOLOR:D ) one with Claude Rains...The Lon Chaney, good ol' fashioned one. The only Phantom movie that resembles the orginal plot... I'm a real big Phantom phan (fan), so it means much to me *sniff*
Kylilin Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 The longest day is a fantastic movie. But I'm going to have to go with either "Inherit the Wind" or "On the Waterfront".
eniaC Posted December 1, 2003 Posted December 1, 2003 "Ahh...the children of the night...what sweet music they make" - Dracula
