Well, I´ll be going to our cinemacomplex and probably will be seeing the lotr marathon, which means fotr and ttt before midnight and rotk after. And i think rotk will rock us all. I mean, I´ve read the whole story and there is going to be some intense scenes, believe me ;)

Go Eowyn :D

If only she would marry Aragorn and not Faramir.

* sighs *

Ha! Yes, we should write a letter to Peter Jackson and educate him... what I read said that he didn't like that part of the book so he didn't even do any filming for it.:mad: :mad: :mad:

You must understand that PJ has his legitimate reasons. A Scouring of the Shire scene would not work very well in a the movie format, because it is sort of like another climax after the climax of Sauron being defeated, Aragorn becoming king, and everyone's adventures ended. The two climaxes would cancel each other out and would not make for a very understandable nor enjoyable movie. Read the Newsweek article on ROTK, it explains his reasons for cutting this scene and others.

And yes I can't wait for ROTK either. :joy:

I am seeying it on a plane when I go on holiday (hopefully they will show it).

Slightly Off-topic: A blooper in FOTR-

When Aragorn is running up to Boromir after defeating that Uruk-Hai, one of the "dead" Uruk-Hai noticably moves while another turns it head to look at him running past.

I only noticed this because this time I was looking at the corpses and not Aragorn. Don't get me wrong though, FOTR is one of my all-time favourite movies.

oy. Hint taken.

*mumbles and goes off to buy the tickets.*

Got tickets for the morning session on the day it comes out! Man I'm looking forward to it so much that last night after I read some of the book, I dreamt I was a Gondor soldier fighting in Minas Tirith in ROTK, :p . Too much Lotr on my mind. Better go do some scripting and distract myself.
