BLG Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 What is Yodas species called? (wasnt shure which forum to post this)
Sivy Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 mmmmmm, a mystery, it is. i heard some people refer to yoda as a 'Whill' but thats unofficial. unless GL tells us we will never know.
Lord Siraious Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 The offical word is that GL has not named them. As for the Whill I think that they are a race that look similar to yoda and yaddle but are in fact a different race. (I have to go and search about)
JediNyt Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 This question has been asked countless times! As always the answer is NO ONE KNOWS!
Jedi Luke Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Yes, this question is one for the ages........
Zappa_0 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Indeed, we will never know until GL tells us.
Skinkie Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Well, it says HERE that there's a novel based around Yoda coming out. It might have the answer your looking for... but probably not.
Jedi Luke Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 Doesn't look too bad. But yeah, it probably won't.
Lord Siraious Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 The novel will not reveal any of Yoda's secrets trust me....
Jedi Luke Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 Deep down, each of us knew that we wouldn't find out anyway. Ultimately, does it really matter?
lukeiamyourdad Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 GL wants to keep the secret until the day he dies
dark jedi 8 Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 then we'll have to go down to hell and ask him.
Darth Exar Kun Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 i hear that the worst cirle of hell reserved for pedofiles and film makers that ruin there work
guybroom Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 I have no idea what they are called, but on KOTOR (i just got it for xbox) there is another jedi that is of the same species. BUT I had a thought, on - http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/yoda/ - it says - species UNKNOWN. So that's the name. Yoda is part of the species called 'unkown' I've worked it out for you all. I'm so clever.
BawBag™ Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Originally posted by Skinkie And telephone solicitors. Thats made my day. I think Lucas attempted to put some more mystery around Yoda when it came to defining the species. Or he just couldn't be arsed thinking of one.
leXX Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 It is the question to end all questions. Deeper than the meaning of life, why are we here and how much is that doggy in the window. If GL ever reveals Yoda's species, a vortex in space and time will open up and the whole universe will implode. On a site note, GL said Yoda is the illegitimate child of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, so my guess is he is an Oggy.
