Did you ever think?...

That if you go to school, and after circumstances of forces beyond death, you die...wouldnt that be kind of a waste of your life? The going to school part. All of this time, going to school in your life, and you die....wouldnt that be just a waste? To me it would. Like, if you die at like 10+ yrs old, to like below 5 years after graduating High school. Your thoughts?

Nah, it wouldn't all be in vain. Thanks to my education, I've been able to help out other people and make their lives easier. Wheter it's giving pointers to someone studying for a history test or simply contributing to forums like these, (couldn't do it effectively if I didn't take English classes) I know that I've made a positive difference in this world, even if I can't see the effect myself.

Besides, we all die eventually. One could argue that doing anything would be a waste of time if you're just going to die in the end anyway.

what i mean is, what would with all the spare time if you didn't have school is go to.

i mean from the age of 5 to 19 i was in education... say i hadn't, what would i have done all that time?

school is meant to get you interested in something so when it comes to picking a career you can say "hey i enjoy this in school maybe i can get a job involving that"

Seriosuly, I'm really confused by this thread.....

Dude, it's normal to think about that. I mean, have you ever thought that you would go through a hard life of work and school and then get run over by a car or something and have done all that in vain and never be able to reap the fruits of your labors? It's like if you worked really hard to save up for something expensive, and then was mugged just before you could buy it, that would be a complete waste of your hard work.
