txa1265
Hi: I wanted to start talking about the next set of Clone Wars cartoons. I know this is a free Swamp, but if you have nothing productive to say (e.g. cl0n3 warz sux0rz) kindly just stay away. Also - please discuss only 'already shown' episodes - as of April 1st, that is Ep 11 - 14 (and obviously the first 10). Mike
txa1265
I really liked Episode 11 - given the amount of character work, it is hard to believe it was only a few minutes long. A couple of classic lines 'I have you now' and 'I have a bad feeling about this' made an appearance. Chapters 12 and 13 were good, especially 13. The thing that amazed me in Chapter 14 was the contrast between the total one-ness of the master/apprentice team Bariss & Luminari compared to the constant battling individuality of ObiWan & Anakin. And ... Yoda. Mike
•-BLaCKouT-•
I enjoyed chapter 11, but it seemed just like a continuation of 10 to me (I know it was). It's just that after waiting for months, it didn't feel like anything new, y'know? I think I'd rather have had the jump to hyperspace at the end of 10. Some nice lines in it though. You would not believe the amount of whining that's gone on because of 12&13. Personally I loved them and think that Mace rocks, big time. 14&15 are looking to be cool as well Lots of saber action I've got to say, I was a little disappointed with the Kit Fisto episode last season, so I wasn't holding up much hope for the 'side-stories', but I've been proved wrong The trouble is, a lot of people are expecting it to be like the movies I'm mightily impressed so far though... Lei Hng Wei
People didn't like chapters 12 & 13? If I had the Force/telekenisis that's how I'd use it in combat. Ooo, Vader tossed around some machinery in ESB. Chapter 13 Mace gets down to the nuts 'n' bolts of Force combat. This shows how a) bad-ass Mace is, b) why he doesn't need non steenkin armour and c) a preview how spetacular his death will be in Ep. III. He ain't gonna go down like no punk. I've only seen 14 (15 isn't u/l yet), but good to see the difference between Master/Padawan relationships from a non-human, even a female POV. RoxStar
I must say that these cartoons have been better than I expected. Is their gonna be a DVD or something with all twenty epsidoes?
dark jedi 8
i hope so, that or they could be an extra on the OT bonus disk when it comes out in september. i loved 12 and 13, especially 13 where mace got down to fist fighting and using the force to kick some ass! very cool! •-BLaCKouT-•
Keeping in mind LFL's past history of VHS releases (and now DVD obviously) I'd say you could quite safely bet your life on a Clone Wars DVD release. EDIT: Mike, do you post at the TFN:JC at all? B.

While I'm sure it will be a DVD someday pretty soon (fall/winter most likely) I would bet actual money against them throwing it in with the OT DVD release (and I'm no gambler!). txa1265
OK, today is the last day. I hadn't seen anything for a week until last night - I had the downloads for Ep 15 - 18 waiting, and then I watched Ep 19 with my kids. Boy this series is good. It is really ramping ... the action in the last couple is amazing, the characters and interactions ... really well done. Mike
leXX
Episode 18 = Crouching Anakin Hidden Asajj I'm loving them, then again I knew I would because I love Tartakovsky's style. Samurai Jack is one of my favourite cartoons. I'm really looking forward to watching all of them in one sitting.

Prime
I'm really enjoying this series. IMO it is the best non-movie Star Wars material to come out in a long time. I loved Mace in action in Ep 13... I'm glad you started a Clone Wars thread Mike...

I wished it showed alittle more. And I hated seeing those credits, I want more episodes!!!!!! Anyway any thoughts?

Lei Hng Wei
Whatever Grevious's species is/was, he sure used it to his advantage while defying gravity. And this is just a cartoon of what's authorized to show before the movie. Let's see, four Jedis killed. Two onscreen, two off. Aayla Secura just got thrown, so she can make her appearance in Episode III. Shaak Ti seemed to have Force blocked the saber, but felt the kenetic blow still. Ki-Adi-Mundi looked down before Grevious attacked, so I'm assuming he found a way out. hopefully. They're making Clone Wars Adventures a comic book series in this art style, so that'll hold us over until Episode III.
Troopr-Undr-Fir
Man this cartoon KICKS ass on so many levels i can't even begin to describe. I have been waiting patiently waiting for the series to be done so I can whatch them all on the cartoon network website. But The wait was too much for me yesterday as I went online and whatched all 18 episodes in one sitting . MY GOD did they do a magnificent (ehh don't care if i spelled it wrong ) job. I might just have whatched the mace kicking ass one about 10 times. It was awsome, and to those people that say it doesn't do star wars justice, all I have to say to you is how do you decide what should be called star wars and what shouldn't be. I mean hey it had lightsabers in it right? Really people should stop stressing on what they'd like star wars to be and just thank George for what he's given us. We are not worthy GL Seriously though, I am gonna wait till friday to whatch the ending...I swear...what?...I will *gives thumbs up, then leaves*
Zappa_0
Ki-Adi-Mundi and Aayla survived, there on the cast and character list for Episode III on StarWars.com. And Troopr-Undr-Fir you make some good points about SW fans.
Darth Rythe
ok. I think it was #13 where mace goes spastic and blows everything up. How the hell can do things like that. I think they went a bit overboard with the force idea. And then him punching Super battle droids and they just blow up. Then he jumps super high. I think they did a bit to much. That's my two cents.
