Assassinate JFK...virtually

"It is despicable," said David Smith, a spokesman for Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy, the late president's brother.

Why not just add...

Everybody knows that it was the government who took him out, not this Oswald joker...

While this'll obviously be a sensitive subject for a lot of Americans, I don't understand how this is any worse than the scores of games available where you can kill and/or main hundreds of 'innocent' people on a whim. All you have to do in JFK:Reloaded is match your shot to the 'official' record of events'. It's not like you're trying inventive new ways to take out the President.

I must get round to e-mailing Traffic Games with my ideas for Paparazzi Racer Underground and Drunk Chauffer: The Revenge...

it looks pretty interesting simulation... as they seem to at least to have tried to duplicate the real life movements of the people and the balistics.

Looks a lot like that awesome 3d reconstruction i saw on a documentary last year, the one that totally disproved pretty much all the myths around the event.

As a game it looks very dull though.... :D

While I don't condone any of those such games, I feel this one is different because it specifically targets a single individual person who really was assassinated. The event itself is a sore spot in the collective unconscious.

Yeah, fair enough I suppose. I wasn't around then which only furthers my indifference to the matter. I've heard people say that while he was a good president, he wasn't the saint he was made out to be. But like I said, it doesn't really bother me one way or the other. It's done now.

How come world leaders are never taken out when you wannit eh? [reads papers and tuts loudly]

Umm, this is horrible. JFK was a great person, probably one of the best Presidents. He was a very progressive, liberal, and black-supporting President.

My Dad and I think that some crazy extreme Republican (one that is racist and supports Bush) probably made it. He was assassinated by a conservative, anti-black rights, Republican.

:fett:
