What is the current avatar image size, did it change recently, was it limited by pixels or filesize? I haven't done one in a while:lol:

And how do you make the animation? Is it similar to animated textures?

I'm thinking of making my own little sig shop. But seeing as there is a sticky, it won't be worth much because it'd probably get locked or deleted. Anyway, I have about 20 sigs that I made myself, and the one below I made a couple days ago. I have more brushes and I know how to animate now.. so :p

@REDJOHNNYMIKE

If you have Adobe Photoshop, make a sig then go to 'ADOBE IMAGEREADY' and use that to make animations. You can find some tutorials at the graphics section of 'www.se7ensins.com' though, you have to make an account to view it. I also posted all my made signatures there under the name of 'merios'. So if any of you make a name at the site, check out the graphics showoff area.

If you do specifically want me to create you one, PM me with the details. 'Name, motto, basic design, render link (optional)' and i'll get to it. I probably won't be checking on this thread very often.

Thanks:)

Now how do I animate it?

edit: I forgot to ask, does the forum support alpha channel transparency?

If you mean a transparent .gif, look at my avy. hehe

Its just 2 layers set on a 10sec delay. (not really an animation, but the same principle.)

EDIT: Xbx_Inthusiast beat me to it. Better explanation too.
