xmovingpicturesx Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 WTFLOLBBQ!1one Eric Roberts must be turning in his grave... wait a minute...
Sabretooth Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 ...blah blah...I know Mono is probably doing most of the sigs,... What, I do all the attention whoring and Mono get's the credit. Everybody hates me. I'm leaving this forum.
REDJOHNNYMIKE Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 What is the current avatar image size, did it change recently, was it limited by pixels or filesize? I haven't done one in a while:lol: And how do you make the animation? Is it similar to animated textures?
RedHawke Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 I believe Avatars are a max of 120 X 120 Pixels and or 40 kb.
REDJOHNNYMIKE Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Thanks:) Now how do I animate it? edit: I forgot to ask, does the forum support alpha channel transparency?
Xbx_Inthusiast Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I'm thinking of making my own little sig shop. But seeing as there is a sticky, it won't be worth much because it'd probably get locked or deleted. Anyway, I have about 20 sigs that I made myself, and the one below I made a couple days ago. I have more brushes and I know how to animate now.. so @REDJOHNNYMIKE If you have Adobe Photoshop, make a sig then go to 'ADOBE IMAGEREADY' and use that to make animations. You can find some tutorials at the graphics section of 'www.se7ensins.com' though, you have to make an account to view it. I also posted all my made signatures there under the name of 'merios'. So if any of you make a name at the site, check out the graphics showoff area. If you do specifically want me to create you one, PM me with the details. 'Name, motto, basic design, render link (optional)' and i'll get to it. I probably won't be checking on this thread very often.
Bob Lion54 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Thanks:) Now how do I animate it? edit: I forgot to ask, does the forum support alpha channel transparency? If you mean a transparent .gif, look at my avy. hehe Its just 2 layers set on a 10sec delay. (not really an animation, but the same principle.) EDIT: Xbx_Inthusiast beat me to it. Better explanation too.
REDJOHNNYMIKE Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Photoshap trial ran out, back to GIMP, anybody know how to animate with that program? I'll get the main design finished as soon as I coax my PC back from limbo:xp:
Commander Obi-Wan Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Photoshap trial ran out, back to GIMP, anybody know how to animate with that program? Ditto for me. GIMP isn't exactly the greatest for making sig/avvies.
RC-1162 Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 if you re-download the Photoshop trial, would it help? cuz even my trial period is over
Commander Obi-Wan Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 if you re-download the Photoshop trial, would it help? cuz even my trial period is over You can't. You only get one thirty-day trial period.
Xbx_Inthusiast Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 You guys should go to se7ensins.com's forums. Just look around, you might just find what you need for photoshop...
RaV™ Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 How do I make my signature have a picture/ banner on it? Yeah might be wrong area to post this, but I'm just returning from a long hiatus so bare with me..
DarthLinde Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 your welcome do you need a picture or do you have one?
RaV™ Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 I have one on my comp, but I can't find the url for it on the internet.
DarthLinde Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 You have to upload the image on to the internet then you get a url, I was asking if you did that
DarthLinde Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 http://www.photobucket.com if you want to sign up i'll find some free ones one second http://www.pictiger.com is also good and you don't have to sign up
DarthLinde Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 convert it but it may screw up the colors jpg's best for not screwing up pixels
RaV™ Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Thanks with your help I figured it out I appreciate it.
