I got Halo (SP=meh), Deus Ex 2 (not at all bad), Ninja Gaiden all for about £5 (probably $7-10). If you see it cheap then Deus Ex 2 gives lots of value, as do morrowind and KOTOR 1&2. Ninja Gaiden is impossible but awesome. Do you want mainly single player games or multiplayer ones? Any particular genres you like, or do you just want to try something new? Sands of Time rocks and can also be found cheap now. Crimson Skies used to be very good on Live - if anyone still plays it. The GTA (3 and Vice City) double pack is very good value. (if you are old enough, don't understand US grades) SSX3, any tony hawk game, soul calibur or Dead or Alive, any splinter cell game, project gotham 2, etc...

ACDC_Fanatic Posted August 18, 2005 Author Posted August 18, 2005 Well, his boss (I think it's the Supervisor, he's Greek) said that he doesn't take enough responsibility and doesn't take cooking into consideration and acts weird :S. I dunno..hes always in his room doing stuff though, i always smell this insense coming out..and hes always very slow and sleepy. I only heard about pot like 2 months ago, my friends told me its this drug that makes you go slow and stuff. Sorry if im being weird, but i really want to fix this family and his girlfriend problem...my mum is very upset from this and my dad is always leaving home and drinking alcohol. Im very thankful that they bought me an xbox, but i want to make their lives a little more happier.... . My parents have spoken to my cousin's co-workers and they said that his skill has fallen by 20%..though hes still doing average in his shifts. My cousin used to help do my maths homework..last year but at the end of last year he got addicted to some drugs and now..i dont know what to do about it ...and im doing all i can to help this problem with my Cuz and parents...As well, His girlfriend doesn't know that he's a druggie, so I'm a bit worried about that fact. He might pressure her to take it, too, then her marks will fail miserabally. If you guys can help me out in any way you can, then I'd appreciate it very much.

You can try to talk to him about it, tell him how it makes you feel so he knows he isn't only hurting himself, etc. I can't say I have lived a situation like yours, so I don't have much more advice for you, but you should remain strong and keep sending love his way

Invite all his friends (assuming they don't do drugs...) to your house, and when he arrives, you all can try to talk him out of doing the drugs. It may sound silly, and yes I got that from an episode of Seinfeld, but it still may work. Either that, or at least get your parents to talk to him. He definately needs help. And congrats on getting the xbox.

toms Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Do people in the US really do "interventions"??? I thought it was just in tv series... I don't think the concept would work in the UK. (though these days they would probably end up on some talk show or reality show... very un-british.) One of the unfortunate side effects of being 14 is that 23 year olds tend not to listen to you, so i suspect there is nothing you will be able to do to change things. You could try to get him to do stuff with you, as pot isn't physically adictive... it just becomes a habit... so maybe if you can get him interesting in other things he might tone it down to a more reasonable level.

Half Life 2 is coming out, Doom 3 is fun but once you lose all your Items it's kinda annoying. Congrats on passing the eighth Grade, I'm startin Highschool in like a week.

Is it worth getting Halo AND Halo 2??? the single player in halo is pants, and i heard halo 2 SP isn't nuch better... and if you are going to multiplay them on live then you really don't need both.

My cousin is an anti-socialist he never talks with anybody, he just sits in his room .... do you guys think if i talk to him..hell go mad at me? Race, skin color, none of that matters, and when you tell you're story you keep incluiding side notes about the person's heritage. Just tell the important parts, don't throw race into the subject, it's not important.
