The Source
Star Wars: The 3D Rerelease of all episodes... Will you watch them again? According to online sources, George Lucas is working on turning all six movies into 3D. After watching about four/five rereleases of the original trilogy, will you go see Star Wars again? Do you believe that making the movies 3D is way too much Star Wars?

90SK
Sure, why not. I still have those SPY KIDS: 3D glasses laying around somewhere...
stingerhs
i think it'll be interesting, but i have a hard time getting excited about a CGI remake of an already classic set of movies. just my two pennies. *shrugs*
Aash Li
I will only see the last three (4, 5, 6)... dont really care about the first three.

Yeah, I think it would be cool, but too bad it didn't happen earlier. I will only see the last three (4, 5, 6)... dont really care about the first three. Intresting! I have to agree... If there are any of the movies that I would see in 3D, I would no doubt watch the original trilogy as well. But I can't help but wonder if people are getting a little too sick of Star Wars!? When was the last time you watched the original trilogy movies from beginning to end?
lukeskywalker1
Meh, probably not.
The Source
If the 3D version of the original trilogy came out in about eight or nine years, I would have no problem seeing it again. However, if they came out in the next four to five years, I would hold back from seeing them.
lukeskywalker1
Yeah, I guess I agree with that. Right now, I've seen the movies too much.. I can't even watch them.... I seriously, subconsiously zone those movies out...
lukeiamyourdad
Sure I will! Imagine a Star Destroyers coming out of your screen! On a side note, to the people who might not know what we're talking about, 3D doesn't mean CGI.

Lynk Former
I've already watched the Star Wars movies over and over and over and over... watching it yet again in 3D is okay by me.

Aash Li
Yeah, CGI is what the Incredibles are, 3D is where you set in the theater wearing goofy paper glasses, one lens is red, the other is blue. If you look at the movie if its rendered for 3D. the objects will appear to actually stand out from the screen. If you watch the movie without the glasses, everything has a red and blue outline. 3D movies were a big thing in the 50s and 60s.
Hallucination
It might be worthwhile. I'd listen to the folks who went the first day and get their opinion of course.
Lynk Former
3D movies were a big thing in the 50s and 60s. And that is exactly why it's PERFECT for the Star Wars movies.
REDJOHNNYMIKE
First, is this real 3-d film, or 3-d animation, if it's animation they can keep it, if you real sparks and a door fly past your head and troopers storm your blockade runner then YIPEEEKIYAY!!! Second, are you sure you didn't hear this from a shadow that is vastly superior to those "honest" sources;) But here's the clincher 3-D KNIGHTS Then make three deee MATRIX, LOTR, and finally the video of "BRING ME DOWN" by PILLAR, and the "ALIVE" video by PAYABLE ON DEATH, and release the game, the SW movies and the other movies and music videos as the greatest box set of all time.......................... MdKnightR
I would definitely go see them! I have seen every last episode of Star Wars on the big screen (including the original releases and Trilogy Special Edition) and I wouldn't miss seeing them in 3D! Achilles
I'd prefer that they spend the time and energy adding CGI Yoda to the other three films (EPs 1, 5, & 6), but yeah, I'd watch them again.

Actually, I'd be happy if they went back and touched up the lightsaber duels...especially the one between Vader and Kenobi. The blades look so "blah." Lynk Former
@ Achilles: I'd like them to touch up Yoda in the Phantom Menace. But it would be stupid of them to do ANYTHINg to Yoda in Empire and Jedi. That's like ORIGINAL Yoda, plus his role in 5 and 6 didn't call for him to do anything but stand there and talk for the most part so replacing the puppet with CG would be a big waste. Achilles
^^^^ 5 and 6 I could survive without, but TPM is screaming for a CGI Yoda.
T7nowhere
No, I wouldn't bother with a 3D version of the movies, Infact I would go to great lengths in order to avoid ever having to see such a thing. If its true I'm completely disgusted by the concept? The only thing I want to see is CG Yoda in Ep.1 and maybe less of Jar Jar.
