Aash Li
I meant that HHGtG galaxy didnt suck. Kung Pow was a stupid movie, it was a satire though. And just so you know, the asians make fun of themselves too. Kung Fu Hustle and Arahan being two examples.
El Sitherino
Do you mean the British one or the Hollywood one? Or both? I saw the British one and its was great-tacular, but I didn't see the Hollywood one. ... They're technically BOTH british ones. Most of the staff for the new one was british after all. Only "Hollywood" ties it had was the studio that released it. And saying that makes it hollywood would mean Spirited Away is a hollywood movie. ^ Just because I don't find mind-numbingly stupid "comedies" entertaining doesn't mean I "have the sense of humour of a tumour". I was more commenting on your posts practically all across the board, not so much just the comment on the movie. However, just because I think the movie sucks doesn't mean it actually does. Since when does anybody on your planet give a flying fu.... squirell about the opinions of others? I think it sucks, but that doesn't mean you have to think it sucks. You presented it as fact, so I had to correct you. You like it, I don't. It's that simple. Who said I like it?
Bimmerman
Swim Fan. Worst Movie Ever. And just because it seems to be a topic of discussion, the new Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie was awesome; I didn't much like the old one.

El Sitherino
Spirited Away was rleased by Disney, so that would make it an Orlando movie. Except all it's business is done in hollywood. And hollywood has generally become a term referring to any movie done by Americans, and dirtied by their touch.
MdKnightR
Kung Pow is the absloute stupidist movies ever to be made. No, that would be Napoleon Dynamite. Fuu
A Clockwork Orange Ooo you beat me to it. Seriouly this is one of the "movie night" classics. Labyrinth with David Bowie is pretty strange That movie is awesome! How can you not love Bowie? Some thing strange............ hey remeber Liquid television? Not a movie but man that was one strange show. I guess we have that to thank for the strangeness that is Aeon Flux. They released that as a dvd set eventually....so its kinda related.... I always loved it but I also thoulght Bladerunner was a lil on the strange side. F
Astrotoy7
Im glad someone mentioned David Lynch.... he's been called "Jiimy Stewart from Mars" because he's a down to earth guy with a weird a$$ imagination.... I'd like to submit his whole filmography - in particular *Eraserhead *The Elephant Man *Blue Velvet *Twin Peaks/Fire Walk With Me *Wild at Heart *Lost Highway other weird but wonderful films "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & her Lover" directed by Peter Greenaway "Drowning by Numbers" by Peter Greenway yes, Hitchhikers would seem weird to those who arent familiar with the book or old series... its been over 20 years for me so Im too familiar with it to think it weird All these films come highly recommended when youre in the mood for something 'different' mtfbwya

I think he meant when they did a theatrical style release of it (tv series) on VHS. Back on topic: Heh, forgot about Eraserhead, indeed a strange film. 90SK
Casino Royale was the best movie ever to be birthed. But, since some consider it "weird", I'll mention it here.

Aash Li
Casino Royale *was* weird... it was also too long, and stopped being funny after a while. But I did like it while it was funny... I watched all the way through. heh
RedHawke
O, I forgot to say how bad "Forbidden Planet" was. It was really bad. I hate to break it to you, but for it's time it was "the" sci-fi film... I think the word you might need to replace 'bad' with in your post might be "dated", but Forbidden Planet is far from bad. It is the one of the most influencial movies in the annals of sci-fi. Praise be Stanley Kubrick Word!

spinkle
Meet the Feebles By far the most f-ed up thing i've ever seen in my life. Don't watch it on drugs...just...DON'T. How Peter Jackson was allowed to film the Lord of the Rings series after making that film absolutely astounds me.
