Least favorite Star Wars movie?

Which of the movies did you like the worst? I didn't really like the 2nd episode. Too mushy.

I didn't like ROTJ, because Vader/Anakin dies in the final scenes of it.

There all brilliant films in my book so calling one the worst doesen't sound right more so my least favourate but if im pushed probably the phantom menace but it's an awesome movie an must have part of the series.

Probably AOTC, even though i actually loved the movie, i'd say it was probably my least fav out of all 6

I'm not sure about EP I or EP V. I felt they both lacked the action the other movies had. Out of those 2 I probalby would say EP V to be the worst. The only battle in EP V is the landing on Hoth, but I felt that was over in minutes. The best one I think is EP IV.

Now that I think of it, you're right. They're all good. I think that I didn't like the second episode because Hayden really messed it up in that one. Wacthin bad acting in the centre of attention, really can ruin the film you know. Luckily, Ewan McGregor, Sam L. Jackson, Frank Oz, Christopher Lee, Natalie Portman and Ian McDiarmid saved the day...

Definitely Episode IV. No ground battle, no Imperial March, Leia looked stupid, bad music. I can go on and on with this for years, you know?

Episode 1 because of the half-hour podrace who wasn't exciting and didn't bring anything to the movie/saga... and the little kids, they were whining and were stupendously annoying.

AOTC was by far the worse IMO, the Anakin and Padme scenes were just so damn cheesy.

Seriously, Ep1 was the worst IMO. Jar Jar was the most annoying charactor in the series. When I first saw it in the theater, I couldn't figure out what he was saying most of the time.

 

In fairness, it did have some redeming qualities:

Qui-gon was great.

Seeing Obi-wan and relizing that they got an actor to play the part well.

And of course, the Qui-gon and Obi-wan v Darth Maul fight was truly spectacular.

TPM - whining Anakin, polystyrene-looking Yoda, wooden performances from pretty much everyone except Neeson (especially Portman), crappy lines ("this is intense!") and the unnecessary Jar-Jar.

 

The awesome lightsaber duel at the end, and Qui-Gon, are really the only good things going for that cinematic abortion.

AOTC, was piss poor in comparison. Ep. 1 closely following, although Neeson saved it for me, just with his special face.

All the star wars movies are good, but I found myself often bored during ESB, so I guess it's my least favorite.

I find it odd everyone has a dislike of the movie, but they like it as well. That's a bit weird, butI did like ROTJ even though Vader died, that's why I chose it as my dislike (AOTC would follow behind it, but i can't saying anything about TPM, because of the duel at the end.)

AoTC, all around it had the least involving storyline and while I like it and it introduced the clones, it just didn't have as much force behind it as the others.

Episode II was definitely my least favorite of the Star Wars movies. Though I still like it very much just because it is Star Wars and I can't dislike anything Star Wars, it just wasn't as entertaining as the other movies.

I would say AOTC is probably the weakest. But I still like it except for 3PO's "comic relief".

I'd rather see Jar Jar play the fool than 3PO.

I think ANH may actually be my least favorite. I usually get incredibly fired up to watch it then end up bored a little while in. It's certainly not the most concise or quickly developing movie ever made.

How could you think it's aweful? IMO it was the best coreographed fight in the series. (I still liked the Anakin vs Obi-Wan more, but TPM's was very good)

 

It's your opinion though I guess
