{masteraj} Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Well Well Well A gret idea. Anyway, i use to but now nah.... i would have to use the force to kil them if they did! No thats noth the jedi way.....
MasterNoah Posted December 1, 2005 Author Posted December 1, 2005 Well thats cool because i have been made fun of...but then i guess a few of my friends got into my SW toys and just couldn't stop
The Doctor Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I used to collect Star Wars stuff. I still have the scars from those beatings....
Kurgan Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Wearing Star Wars Underoos on my head to school was probably a bad idea...
Nedak Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Wearing Star Wars Underoos on my head to school was probably a bad idea... Rofl!!! Probably not
El Sitherino Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Generally not, considering my physical appearance. I tend to ward off bullies. When I was littler though I did, but one well placed punch to the throat fixed that.
Katarn07 Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Err. When I was in 5th grade and people were a bunch of immature kids who thought they knew what cool was. Last year when I was still in highschool, my best friends would always wanna play with half of the ****, even though they don't like SW. They just wanted to launch missiles and what not They did like my Mr. Zuchinni Head accessory that comes with my Family Guy figures
Shocker Toys Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 I love playing with my figs cept the ones that cannot be removed from packaging! Hey wait a minute thats like all of them.....
Nedak Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Generally not, considering my physical appearance. I tend to ward off bullies. When I was littler though I did, but one well placed punch to the throat fixed that. Same here lol
General Solo Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 I haven't collected any star wars figures yet, I may, and no one has ever made fun of my collecting before.
Jediknight1818 Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Sometimes, but then they see my collection and their like "thats pretty cool"
neal8929 Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 A few years ago when I was maybe 15 I bought a Boba Fett action figure and played with it. It was fun, but that was the last action figure I ever bought. Im 17 now and sometimes when I'm in the car, I play with my little brothers action figures and make them fight each other. Sometimes I wish I could be 7 again lol.
Jediknight1818 Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Thats why I'm glad I have a little boy, more toys to play with. It seems like the toys are cooler now than when I was a little kid.
urluckyday Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Nope. A lot of people think I'm nerdy, but not in a mean way. I mean, they eventually realize that it's better to have a passion in something than nothing at all. They also think that it's cool that I go out of my way to get these things, and that I have collected so many and spent so much. But of course there are a few out there that don't understand, but I just don't pay any attention to them. As for continuing collecting...it's not as much as I did when I was a kid, but it's definitely still going strong, and I plan to keep buying as long as they produce (and far beyond). MTFBWY
adamqd Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 People wouldn't Dare!! nah... my Friends are cool with it (Plus, I'm just short of 6"4') Me and one of my mates decided to start collecting again after AOTC came out, I haven't looked back...
dark jedi 8 Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 not really, i don't play with them anymore and trying to collect anymore requires two jobs but i do my best to keep up. everyone i always had over thought it was cool to have thousands of little figures all setup and stuff. btw katarn whats goin on haven't seen you in, well, years.
BigMike322 Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 I only have a few of mine left, although I plan on picking up some more. But to answer the original question yes, my wife gives me a hard time about it.
Fettscommander Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I have hundreds of them and nobody bothers me.
Jake Hutt Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I'm a 30-year old husband/father who is still actively adding to my vintage SW collection. My wife makes fun of me all the time about it, but I keep reminding her that my SW collection may someday pay for a semester of our daughter's college tuition. That is, if I can bring myself to sell it off (probably not).
littleman794 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I don't have time to collect them, I collected Bionicle for a while, but i hardly had any time to look(let alone play)with them! (")>.<(")
Blix Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 When I used to work at Target I'd pick an SW figure that I figured was pretty rare, and I would get an occasional smile from one of the cashier girls, but no one's ever really made fun of me for it.
