RobQel-Droma Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Which game, in your opinion, was worthy.... to be chucked down the trash? Or, if you really didn't "hate" any games, which was the one that you didn't care for that much?
Katarn07 Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Jedi Outcast was the biggest letdown for me. I played DF, JK, and MotS for years and unlocked every secret to be found; alot of it on my own and the last of it with the help of the internet. Jedi Outcast I never have desired to replay.... Worst game you say? I actually like TPM for the opening missions. I'd actually have to go with Rogue Squadron. XWA > RS. After playing XWA first, there's no turning back.
Jeff Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 I didn't like Battlefront I. Haven't played II yet, so I don't know if it's worse than the first like some say or not.
The Doctor Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 KotOR......never played it. Play it. Seriously. It's way better than any other Star Wars game, IMO.
Palpatine_dc Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 The worst Star wars game I played was Galactic Battlegrounds. Why? Because it was just Age of Empires with Star Wars units. It had crappy graphics with bitmap units that could only go 8 directions (earlier games using bitmap engines had at least 2 that number). Gameplay was neither original nor fulfilling. Even the unit sounds were repeatative. If it had been brought out a couple of years earlier it might have been good, but halas... Off couse there are other Star wars games from around this period, that were also bad or even worse but I didn't play them.
Katarn07 Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 I didn't like Battlefront I. Haven't played II yet, so I don't know if it's worse than the first like some say or not. Oh yeah, I too didn't like Battlefront. I just played a demo, but it didn't make me wanna play more of it at all.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Play it. Seriously. It's way better than any other Star Wars game, IMO. I was considering playing it, but I heard it wasn't so good on PC, but now I am not going to worry about it. Since I am going to buy BFME II and Empire at War.
Jeff Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Uhh... It's better on PC. Better graphics because of higher screen resolution, and the mods that are available for it.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Uhh... It's better on PC. Better graphics because of higher screen resolution, and the mods that are available for it. Well, that's what somebody told me. Well, I might consider trying the game after I play EaW and BFME II.
90SK Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I mean, it wasn't so bad in the beginning, but it quickly staled on me. I was hoping for more of a generalized "clone wars" experience: you get to play the clone wars, not another ho-hum Anakin-saves-everything plot. That aside, Star Wars for Gameboy. Not fun.
Nedak Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 HA I had the Starwars gameboy (not even color) game when I was like 6 HAHAHA it sucked so badly I got poed and almost broke my gameboy because I could not beat the damn level where you got on the Falcon with Solo lol... Good times....
Kurgan Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Jedi Power Battles was pretty craptastic on the dreamcast (despite decent graphics at the time). The PSX version was even worse. A total disaster... it failed in so many areas. I never played Force Commander or Obi-Wan but both of those games got horrible reviews and people I talked to who actually played them complained bitterly of the utter disappointment of them.
{HaD}DARTH MAUL Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 i think the worst star wars game i have played is rogue squadron 3D, the game had horrible graphics, the ships were near impossible to stear, and the game had many pixel problems such as the sky would look fine would minute and then it would be a hazy gray with green spots.
Katarn07 Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 I kinda liked Jedi Power Battles on the PSX with a friend. I never owned it though, so I'm sure I'd learn to hate it.
RobQel-Droma Posted December 8, 2005 Author Posted December 8, 2005 Well, that's what somebody told me. Well, I might consider trying the game after I play EaW and BFME II. Well, they must have been ignorant about it. It is really good on PC. I was glad when I found out that it was just because you didn't have it; To say that KotOR is the least favorite game, after playing it, would be complete heresy . It is absolutely one of the best games out there.
Pho3nix Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Probably Force Commander, worst SW game evah.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Probably Force Commander, worst SW game evah. There's actullay a game called Force Commadner. What are you....a commander that uses the force?
primalunderdog Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Ironicly I hated darkforces!I also did not like that guy dissing Kotor before he played it.It is the best starwars game out there next to galaxies.
boinga1 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Lol... Yes, Star Wars Galaxies, the best Star Wars game on the market! For the record, my least fav game... hmm... perhaps TPM game, although Jedi Academy was also a letdown. I never owned Jedi Power Battles, but I loved it when I played it (impossible though it was ).
Darth_Terros Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Star Wars galaxies all the way. That game is less Star Wars than Super Bombad Racing!
Commander Obi-Wan Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Super Bombad Racing does even look like Star Wars. Now, I can only imagine how bad Star Wars Galaxies is.
MachineCult Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 I just don't get Star Wars Galaxies at all, what do you do in it?
