Lady Jedi Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Clicksies. A hamster named Gohan and a snake named Aochan live together in a cardboard box at Mutsugoro Okoku zoo, near Tokyo....."I've never seen anything like it. Gohan sometimes even climbs onto Aochan to take a nap on his back," Yamamoto said." That is adorable.
BongoBob Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 He's just biding his time That is quite odd though. Makes me wonder if the snake is a vegitarian.
Nalukai Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 The keepers better make sure not to skip a meal on the hamsters behalf... ^^
Lady Jedi Posted January 19, 2006 Author Posted January 19, 2006 He's just biding his time One day he'll be taking a nap on the snake's back only to never wake up. That is quite odd though. Makes me wonder if the snake is a vegitarian. They said that the snake has since aquired a taste for frozen mice....
Darth_Extas Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 same thought on my side here... I as well would question what happened when the hamster first met the snake, was it attack or was it unharmed, hard to say.
El Sitherino Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Now let's wait for someone in Hollywood to get a hold of this story and turn it into a tale about love conquering all. Naturally there will be a german psuedo-nazi badguy and an impish child who leaves his evil ways to find his way into being the loving son of our hero. Or something...
spinkle Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 the snake never learned it's not nice to play with its food =(

(The snake ate the "impish child")
Writer Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 heh... wonder how long those living arrangements will hold up before one 'roommate' decides the other looks 'pretty tasty' (and Tie's pancake on the hamster's head must be encouraging the snake... after all, who doesn't like a good pancake? "Hamster's head was under pancake? Oops! Gotta swallow the hole thing now..." )
Sabretooth Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 *crosses his fingers and hopes the two don't mate*

Naturally there will be a german psuedo-nazi badguy and an impish child who leaves his evil ways to find his way into being the loving son of our hero. Or something... I'd watch that...
toms Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 So would Lady Jedi by the sound of it... Seems to me its more ripe for a humerous and cute anime cartoon, where more and more cute animals join them in their box and lots of hillarious adventures and misunderstanding ensue. THEN hollywood could turn it into a movie, with CGI animals.... though I think you'd find that the bad guy would probably be british
Commander Obi-Wan Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Soon, a certain somebody will be hungry.
Katarn07 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 How adorable. Reminds me of one of my dragons who doesn't eat as much as my other one. She just sits there and lets the crickets sit on her head I hate that lizard so much
jon_hill987 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 That snake looks like it is about to shead it's skin (Check out the eyes), If that is so it could be the reason why it hasn't eaten the hamster.... Yet. Edit: I read that it as been there some time... Ok my reason is now: the Hamster is too big and the snake can't eat it till it gets bigger.
TiE23 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 This will end badly. Lets pray its only divorce.
Alkonium Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 This support my opinion on interspecies relations and how well they can work. Other proof is my half-cat, half-dog pet.
El Sitherino Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 The snake is totally the hamsters bitch. Reminds me of another odd couple...
Alkonium Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Oh yes, and for those of you who didn't know, my statements about the half-cat, half-dog were a joke. In real life, I never instigated interspecies romance. In written literature, however...
Samuel Dravis Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 In written literature, however...What? No, don't answer that. That hamster is a brave thing. Either that or it's brain damaged. The snake is clearly out of its mind though; I mean, come on. Why would it prefer frozen mice to Mr. Fluffy there?
Alkonium Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Ok, all there was was the Twookiee thing, then in this story I wrote, a human fell in love with a Twi'lek and later impregnated said Twi'lek. Plus I planned on another human dating an Ithorian, but that never came to fruition.
