Samnmax221 Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Yaay I'll receive celebrity worship I'd otherwise despise Yaay I claimed I was going to bed an hour ago yaay
itchythesamurai Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Yaay I claimed I was going to bed an hour ago yaay Not only are you game for going to sleep, but you also have the potential to sleep well... That's about as on-topic as I'm going to get.
Jake Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Episodes seem like they will work out nicely. I just wish Telltale was bigger and richer and gave Max's buttocks more fancy bumpmapping. The Telltale engine supports bumpmapping, so nothing's out of the question in this department.
itchythesamurai Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 We all know Max has a perfectly formed arse; he's moving around and doing stuff all day, constantly exercising those heavenly rabbity glutes.
BarnyardCommand Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 So has a release date been mentioned in any of those magazine or online articles? I'm too busy with my Pogs to read up on that fluff.
Udvarnoky Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 So has a release date been mentioned in any of those magazine or online articles? I'm too busy with my Pogs to read up on that fluff. Six episodes. The first will come out in October, with the remaining five coming out December-April monthly. Specific dates are not known.
Poopdogjr Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Too bad I have a crappy-ass computer. I would love to play this game. I'll have to wait until I finally get a new one to play it. Maybe a console version is possible in the future?
SyntheticGerbil Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 For the amount of polygons Telltale uses, I don't think you need to worry.

Maybe a console version is possible in the future? I'm sure they could get it to run on an N64, or maybe a Nintendo DS...

Maybe a console version is possible in the future? Dont whine, my machine just completely kicked the bucket and is not coming back. Of course this meens I can finally have the pleasure of using a 64-bit machine.
Poopdogjr Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Maybe I'll just rob a bank or sell myself on the street to make some money to afford a new computer. That would be a fun adventure AND be educational. I can't lose! Oooh a Nintendo DS version would be kinda cool with the touch screen. I'll never buy one though. As cool as they are, portable games/gaming just don't make much sense to me. A Nintendo 64 version I would buy in a second though. That'd be badass.
BarnyardCommand Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 will each episode run about $9.99? Can we assume they'll be the same price as Bone episodes? Should we take time off work for this?
Samnmax221 Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 No, tell your boss to go **** Jesus, then rip off your pants while giving the "I have a dream speech" I guarantee you will have plenty of time to play.
Jake Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 will each episode run about $9.99? Can we assume they'll be the same price as Bone episodes? Should we take time off work for this? They'll be priced cheaper than the Bone episodes.
BarnyardCommand Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 it's about time Telltale stopped catering to high society.
Skinkie Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 I'm always a big fan of things that fall within the price range of free-cheap.
Poopdogjr Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 That's a great price. I kinda like the whole Idea of episode content. If it can make the game creators more money, and lend itself to the creation of more unique and cool concepts, I'm all for it. But I'm worried some will get carried away and just bleed us dry for the small amounts of crap they let out over longer periods of time. But as long as they keep it cheap, and good quality, it sounds good. Here's hoping.
