FiEND_138
Though I'm a PC person, I'll bite.... 360. I'm really thinking about putting some cash a side for this system just for Mass Effect, & Halo3 I guess though I still haven't played all the way through 2, oh & Fable 2 as well. The PS3's just too expensive for me at this point. Having to buy a new car, raise the pet kid, real world bills, etc. $600 is just too much money for a game console, IMO. Don't know enough about the Revolution to comment.
woogiee
overall Id say the 360. its the only console that has more then a few interesting games coming out in the near future, not to mention some greats out already. Wii is a close second just because of the innovative controller and you can play EVERY game to ever be released on ANY Nintendo console EVER. also its only going to be around $200-$250 when it launches. while PS3 seems to just be taking ideas from both MS and Nintendo, ie motion sensitive controller, an xbox live-like online service and I believe the controllers even have a guie button like the 360's. but Im most likely going to end up with all 3, I already have a
TSR
i got a 360, and its really good. PS3 is going to be stupidly overpriced, and to be honest i dont care much for nintendo since the days of the n64...
HerbieZ
I am a pc person really and i own an N64 and a Gamecube but id have to say XBox, best value for money and the most powerful machine out of the three. Id say don't go for nintendo only for the fact is they loose interest about a month after it's made and decide to focus on crappy little renditions of the game boy again you get the same old versions of hyper monkeys balls or Mario 1000000. Lynk Former
Super Monkey Ball is Sega's creation... And there's no point arguing about the "same old, same old" since you're getting exactly that with the Xbox360 and PS3. Same games, better graphics. With Nintendo you get different kind of games, same mascots. As for the PS3 being overpriced, obviously it's a system that will be worth getting because people love uber high budget stuff that looks better than anything else so the best advice for anyone who wants one is to save and wait till the price drops considerably. In the end, the Xbox360 is the only console out at the moment and the only one anyone can really make a clear opinion of so the scale will be tilted in Microsofts favour. Hannibal
I picked 360 for the same reasons as Fiend. But I also picked PS3 because I can see myself buying it 2-3 years down the road.
Diego Varen
If it was me, I would pick PS3, because I own a PS2. Though, you should pick the one that has most of your favourite games on it. If I had to rank all three in order (1st being the best and 3rd being the worst) this is the order I'd put them in: 1. PS3 2. Xbox 360 3. Jeff
I'm definitely planning on getting the Wii, but I may also get a 360 eventually after the price goes down a bit.
Lynk Former
Here's my plan... I'm gonna save up the amount of money it will take to buy a PS3 down here in Australia... and then I'm gonna buy a Wii, a tonne of games and accessories and laugh at all the people who have a PS3 and no games. Bob Lion54
Wii! For one thing, it will be the cheapest system. Even if it was the most expensive, I would still get it but the price just sweetens the Wii. I'm not a console gamer, but Iv'e had all the Nintendo consoles since I was a kid. I guess its tradition. The Zelda games are my favourite games of any franchise. Now, this is only my opinion mind you, but I have a feeling Nintendo has been planning the Wii for years. The Gamecube was only released because of the X-Box and PS2. Nintendo had to have an active console to keep up. In retrospect, I think the Gamecube was never looked at by Nintendo as their "Next-Gen" system. Even when it was released. Of course, I could be entirely wrong. Its only my opinion. I have a PS2. I like it fine, but I have been most unimpressed with Sony as of late. They lack innovation. Every advance they make seems to break someone's patent. I might get a PS3 in a few years if they have some good games for it that are not just the same thing with new charactors and a pretty package. Same thing goes for Microsoft. At least their lawyers seem to be better than Sony's and don't let them make dumb decisions. At least from a legal standpoint. I've played the 360. It certainly looks spectacular, but thats about the only thing I can say about it. It sticks to the core of what console games are all about. Hit buttons, hit more buttons, don't think, go online and trash talk about how well you can hit buttons. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting older but I can't get excited over the same console with better graphics. At least with the Wii, you get something different. So I guess it really depends on if you want to do the same thing you have been doing for years. Mash buttons...Mash more buttons...trash talk about your leet skillz...mash buttons; or try something new. Well, my two pence have been spent... Anyone have change for the bus? HerbieZ
Im going to save all my money for an Alienware, that blows all the consoles out of the water and far far away.
Lynk Former
You know, the only other company who knows Nintendo so well are their former competitors, Sega. Not many people know this but Sega predicted Wii back when Sega had just released the Dreamcast.

Bob Lion54
True about Sega. I love that they were able to keep the company going by switching to just making games. They have a nice collection and it would have been a shame for them to have been lost for good. Not many people know this but Sega predicted Wii back when Sega had just released the Dreamcast. How do you mean? Did they have plans to make a simular system or did they think Nintendo had something planned they couldn't compete with? Im going to save all my money for an Alienware, that blows all the consoles out of the water and far far away. Alienware... they are great at promoting their image and over charging as the "gamers PC". You're paying for the logo, just as if you bought a Dell. Lynk Former
They seriously thought the GameCube (known then as Dolphin) was going to have motionsensing abilities pretty much like what Wii has and they couldn't compete with it.
