Jeff
Rep won't let customer quit AOL audio That has gotta be one of the most rediculous phone conversations I have ever heard. And another ISP blunder... Comcast technician falls asleep on customer's couch Both of those guys got fired. I definitely think the first guy should, but the second guy was put on hold for a very long time, I think I would fall asleep if I was on hold for that long too... milo
Hehe, I just switched from aol to comcast just a while ago. Though I feel for Ferrari, I know what it's like. It was a real bitch trying to quit aol, though not nearly this bad.

BongoBob
Makes me hate AOL just that much more. I didn't think it was possible. Also, try cancelling Real Arcade. They're just as bad, but they outsource to india, so it's actually worse.
MrWally
My sister's family had the same problem with her cable, they tried getting it set up for 2~3 weeks only to find out it "wasn't available" for her use. Then they switched to DSL

Det. Bart Lasiter
Uh-huh. Who'd you have to sleep with? I forgot her name. All I remember is that the headset kept getting in the way.
narfblat
I'm just curious, does Vincent Ferrari always record his conversations with customer service? It just seems odd to me, unless he had the same problem with a previous call and wanted proof this time. AOL is crazy. We should bombard the owners with the free mini-frisbees they keep sending. Datheus
AOL probably records them. So then how did the customer post the recording to the Internet? He wouldn't have had access to the AOL recording. It seems kind of odd to me.

Seph
He heard storys of how bad customer service was so he taped it to play for everyone to prove if everyone was right or just exagerrating[bad spelling sucks:(]
narfblat
AOL probably records them. According to Darth Moeller's link, it was recorded by Vincent Ferrari himself. Seph's seems the most likely, unless it was faked.
