Who is your LEAST favorite KOTOR series character?

Recommended Posts

I know I'm going to get pelted with rotten fruit for this one, but... I vote the Handmaiden/Brianna... she is a cliche warrior character archtype, not much storywise and quite useless.

*Pelts RedHawke with rotten fruit* :p

im guessing im the only one who had fantasies about Juhani

Yes, you definately are.

G0-T0. First off, his model was just a rip-off of the torture droids, like Jimbo said. Then his voice sounds like they cut the dialogue in which he says "I use this voice to torture squirrels and other small woodland animals. Like Bith". The cut content surrounding him and the HK factory made his background the most annoying in the game.

I was once the beloved pet of the Restoration Project, but then the other droids locked me in a dark wine cellar so I ran away to join the robocircus and deal drugs across the galaxy

The only thing good about him is the way he arms/disarms mines (it's so wierd!), but that is out done by HK's style of throwing grenades.

In the first game it would have to be T3-M4. Too recently built to have developed any personality whatsoever, and you couldn't really talk to it about anything. Sure it had a few interjections in dialog here and there, but nothing spectacular. Even Zaalbar had more personality. :)

In the second game it's Atris Handmaidens. I'd be hard pressed to understand why the Jedi would want to have ones such as them as servants. Perhaps they served as stand-in jerks for the rest of the Order.

(Honorable mentions: Malak in the first game due to him sounding like he reads "hahaha" out loud from the script whenever he's supposed to laugh. Very artificial Evil Villain Laughter there. Disciple in the second game, since I can't stand his voice for some reason. Other than that the character is OK though. :))

Trask Ulgo.

I think the developers at BioWare said to themselves "Hmm, so we did a pretty awful job on NWN's tutorial... how can we make this one worse?" And we ended up with a guy who shouts all of the time. Even when it isn't necessary... to make matters worse we have the synthesized brass band going off in the background.

I just know he's going to make an appearance if there is a KotOR III... Trask Ulgo the Tartan, or something like that.

Don't be so harsh on him, the guy had no mouth.

Either way i did not like... i guesss G0-T0 the most, maybe though i just didn't spend enough time conversating with him. And even though mandalore is cool and stuff he bothered me with his dialogue as well

Who the hell is Trask Ulgo.

Oh and you know Juhani is teh hawtness. Did'nt you ever think about her purring and come to think of it, all she did is display affection for revan and everyone else. She's like a cat, but human. Who would'nt? is my question.

Bastila...

& Revan, though it's all the blind fan worship thats driving the hatred.

I agree, almost in every single darn subject I've seen people want Revan to return or someone who has a genetic link to him/her. Bastila was never really an interesting romance, she was sort of cliched.

I would say it's a tie between Brianna and Juhani for me. Juhani, while having a lot of dialogue, isn't that great a character. She had the potential to be one, but her constantly whiny, sad or regretfull nature stopped that. And since she looked nothing like most cathar, that added to the effect. And since in my first playthrough of KotOR I killed her, she felt too much like a bonus character when I decided to spare her in a later playthhrough. She never felt like a memeber of the Ebon Hawk's crew to me.

Brianna simply had nothing to say. While many characters in TSL didn't either, they had the potential to. Visas could've gone on about her life under Nihilus, Hanharr could've talked about the humans he killed, etc... but Brianna couldn't. Even with what little dialogue she had, even less of it was related to her. She mainly talked about Atris, the Jedi teachings, her mother, or the Exile. The only thing mentioned about Brianna as a person is that she put too much passion into her fighting. Where's the story in that?

Although I dislike Trask even more than those characters, I wouldn't even count him as one. He's just a walking 'How to play KotOR' guide for new players. Saying things like 'move the mouse to the edge of the screen' does help me get immersed in a game.

Death to you.

Heh, it's not actually him, just the way he talks. He sounds gay or something.

Who the hell is Trask Ulgo.

I think it's the guy at the very start when you're on the ship in Kotor I. He tells you the game basics and stuff.

Hmm ahh right. That trask. Yeah he was abit weird, was glad when the ship blew up though so yeah. Bao'dur is one of the best characters in the game, he has alot of mystery about his character and is the only one Kreia does'nt understand. Although his dialogue does make you turn up your speakers one hell of a lot, he reminds me of Terry O'Quinn's character of Locke in Lost.

heh, i can just imagine Revan:

"WTF is this wacko talking about? i dont have any mice! and what screen?"

Bioware didnt do a very good job with trask's dialogue, thats why i use the Roleplay Padawan Mod to replace him with a jedi and become a jedi myself at an earlier stage.

I really disliked a lot of characters. You should have more choices on who shall join you based on alignment in K3. When I play Ligh Side, it made no sense to have a violent Mandalorian like Canderous on board (shoulda just ditched him). When I play dark side, makes no sense to have a goody-two shoes like Brianna following you. Then there are the whiny annoying-voiced freaks: Atton, Bau-Dur, and Juhani Then there is one who must never return, for sake of being incredibly useless... GOTO!!! MAY HE BURN!!!

If any were to ever return, I would only like Carth, Bastila, Brianna (I love her, can't believe all the hate she gets!), Jolee, a Wookiee, and the droids (of course), and not all at once.

From KotOR

(in party) - Zaalbar. Outside of Kashyyyk he didn't have much that interested me.

(out of party) - Griff. I found him very annoying. Many times I would just take the DS points and put him out of his miserable existence because I just didn't want to deal with him.

From TSL

Don't really have one. I guess Hanharr if I play the PC as a darksider.
