  1. 1. How many anniversaries of her 29th birthday is Jae Onasi celebrating today?

    • None, she really is 29. (I also believe in little green men from Mars.)
    • One. (I just bought a bridge in Brooklyn.)
      0
    • Eleven.
    • Eleven. (Hint, hint)
      0
    • Eleven. (Even bigger hint)
      0
    • Eleven. (Are you seeing a pattern here?)
      0
    • Eleven. (Can I get any more obvious?)
    • Eleven. (What, do I have to give you a copy of her birth certificate?)
    • 871. (When 900 years old you are, look this good you will not.)
    • Jae is ageless.

@Jimbo, taekwondo or not, my gender and extremely young (in comparison! :xp: ) age would allow me to come out on top any day.

Unless you've had martial arts yourself, you'll find yourself kissing the mat very quickly and wondering what the heck just happened. I've taken down guys twice my size, twice the athleticism, and half my age with no problem. ;) It's not about age, it's about fighting smart and using excellent martial art technique. You might be able to outdo me in speed, but if your technique is unfocused, speed does you no good, except getting you to your backside on the floor faster. :D

@Jimbo, Dang she's old!!!! Hopefully you can still get a little use out of some of the parts.

All the important parts work just fine, thank you.

And when are you going to show up to your own party thread, eh?

Given the fact that I've found women over forty to be attractive since, well, puberty, I don't see this as a disadvantage. :dev11:

@EmpDev: I've got 1 word of advice for you, man: RUN! It may not do much for your self-esteem, but it would be a hell of a lot better than getting your ass kicked by a girl. :D Sorry, man, but my money's on Jae.

@Jae & -stoffe-: I briefly considered being in the permanently 29 club myself, but that's kind of hard to explain when you introduce people to your teenage daughter. Even as it is, I'm routinely told I look younger than 33 (I still get ID'ed for cigarettes or beer once in a while), and as Little Miss MacLeod has been over 5' 6" since she was 11, the two of us get a lot of suspicious looks when we go out anywhere. Lots of people squinting at us, and I know they're wondering, "Are those two related...or should I be calling the police...?"

I'd be confused, too. I've never had any urges to start kissing inanimate objects. :xp:

Yeah. Sure. ;P

Someone around twice my age is saying I might be able to outdo her in speed?

You make Jae sound like a car or something.

I'll have to wait a few more months to determine if it's permanent or not in my case. Hard to tell, but so far it seems like a decent age to be. :)

I don't know if you'll be waiting. Jae seems to think it's mandatory for any female forumites 29 and up to join her little club. :p

But I have a vague memory we've already had that discussion earlier, even though the Force was a factor in the equation at that time. :)

We have, and you did agree that Anakin was able to kill someone with six or so more decades of experience than him. The same reasoning should apply for Jae and me, then. :p

None the less I'd watch it even without martial arts involved, unless you go around wearing body armor over your vital parts all the time. :p

Well, never underestimate anyone. You will be amazed by people's potential.

Well, she's a female version of a R2-D2, actually.

You better not be implying your maturity, Rodian. Or rather, your lack of it. :xp:

That's the reason why Rodian, Jedimaster, RC, me and several other Ahtonauts are stuck in the 'kiddy' room of the Asylum, watching Teletubbies al day, while Jae gives us our daily dosage of medicines. :D

But, seriously, I would have never guessed DrWho_HfxCA to be (almost) 50. Certainly not since the 'Feeling so welcomed' thread :xp:
