Grey Master
It's a tragedy that we had to loose two great people in the same week. (James Brown and Gerald Ford) I will miss them. R.I.P.
mimartin
Not a great president, but was what the nation needed after Nixon and Vietnam. He was an honest man and he got the nation laughing again. I remember that I thought he was the president of Ford Motor Company as a child. Chevy Chase did a great impersonation of him falling down. Turns out he was a very good football player for Michigan, go figure. My thoughts are with his family and friends

Diego Varen
Make that three. I lost an old friend of mine in a car crash yesterday. This year keeps getting worse and worse. I'm sorry to hear that Pho3nix. Don't worry, 2006 is nearly over. I've found the year to be an average sort of year.

The Doctor
'Tis a shame. He stumbled into the role of President well. Both figuratively and literally.
Jae Onasi
Ford didn't have a lot of time or opportunity to do anything spectacular in office since he stepped into office mid-term after Nixon resigned in controversy. He probably had one of the most difficult jobs to do--step into office and make it respectable again while trying to get the country back on course financially. It's always sad when our country loses a President. My heart goes out to his family. Sorry to hear about your friend, Pho3nix.
CSI
Nope...I think Richard Nixon is better than Gerald Ford...If you count the Watergate Scandal out...[My opinion only, so no hard feelings please] And sorry to hear about your friend, Pho3nix. May he rest in peace.

Emperor Devon
I heard the news a few days ago... Very unfortunate. Seems like all the old politicians are passing on now. @CSI, you have to count Watergate. It was one of the biggest events in Nixon's Presidency, and showed us all what a lying *insert extreme profanity* he was. To do so would be to fake reality... Not a wise thing to do when dealing with political matters.
Titanius Anglesmith
It's always sad to lose a president, but I'm not too shaken up about it. I never really heard much about what he did when he was in office. This year keeps getting worse and worse. It's been a pretty bad year for me too, but at least it'll be over in a few days.
