JediMaster12 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Well for the last few days in my mind I have been listening to Kansas' Carry on my Wayward Son. I grew up listening to Kola, Kost and K-earth, all them oldies and rock stuff of my parents so I have a good appreciation of music and I gues I am ecletic. This song I heard once or twice on the radio and then never heard of it again. Then my favorite television series brought it back and gave the song a name and that series was Supernatural. Listening to the lyrics, I was like 'This is so Dean and Sam.' Since then I sing the refrain in my head when I am particularly feeling down and it cheers me up.
Drunkside Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Just this lightweight background music that goes by the name of Edge Of Sanity - Crimson. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)

For example, it took about 3 days of nigh-on constant listening end-to-end for Little by Little to grow on me. In terms of albums by them, I'd place it behind OK Computer, the Bends and In Rainbows, but ahead of the rest. Great album. Still holding out a fool's hope for King of Limbs II though...
Darth Avlectus Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.) This should be on the radio driving from Los Santos to San Fierro in GTA:San Andreas. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.) A modern version.
Pavlos Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 I went to a performance of Messiaen's Turangalîla-Symphonie, not expecting to enjoy it at all but ending up thoroughly converted to this eighty-minute, whirling, constantly developing, and bizarre wall of sound: (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
JediExile Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Social Distortion. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
JediMaster12 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Well this is just happened to run through my mind and I was eyeballing my DVD collection last night. So I guess the song would be 21 Jumpstreet. Marathon nite soon! (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)

urluckyday Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 A little old...but never boring... "The Good, the Bad, and the Queen" (the side-project of Damon Albarn). If you like Gorillaz, you'll like this. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
Rogue Nine Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Saw Sucker Punch the other day and have not been able to get this song out of my head. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.) Haven't been able to get the entire soundtrack out of my head, actually.
SITH LORD 872 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I am currently Listening to Lacuna Coil, Song is called Spellbound, I like their musical style of rock and classical opera combined, I have seen them in concert and was blown away, Not to mention the lead singer is hott!!
Sabretooth Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I think their specified genre is 'Gothic Metal'. Check out bands like Nightwish, Epica or Within Temptation.
Drunkside Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I have recently gotten into Bloodbath, awesome stuff. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
