Guest DarthMaulUK
Lucasarts today have launched a brand new website based around their new title; Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. All the excitement at the 2006 E3 has certainly sturred up some interest, especially with those superb force powers on display. The site has some images and watch out for Designer Diaries and media coming soon. Official Site DMUK
Fortune Hunter
Yeah I saw the article about the article in game informer yesterday and got very excited... saw this this morning... its gonna be AWESOME!!!
HerbieZ
The concept art rocks, i think this game is going to be killer, it really is. The videos on the site offer great insight into the engine of the game too.
Prime
It definitely looks promising...
Infinite XÆr0
sure the tech behind the game looks promissing, but at this point i cant say the same about the game, i mean, from what i read about the features posted thus far, it seems like they want to bring starwars to a new level of over-the-top rediculousness. When i read this, "The Secret Apprentice won't just Force grip foes to throw them aside - he'll Force grip them in midair, zap them with lightning, then drop them to the ground to explode like a bomb." only a big WTF came to mind... Titanius Anglesmith
It looks awesome, but it's just too bad that us PC users are gonna miss out on all the fun...
HerbieZ
I highly doubt it. It will come out on pc.
Diego Varen
I really like the look of Force Unleashed and it is set in between ROTS and ANH. I'm looking foward to it and I can get it for the PS2, or if I get it, PS3. Or if I'm nice, PSP.
Jeff
Gives me another reason to get a 360 I guess... It says next gen consoles, but I doubt it comes out for Wii, the console I own. Still, the game looks excellent.
Commander Obi-Wan
Looks promising, but I also have Wii in which I doubt it will be released for. But, eh, we'll wait and see.
Fortune Hunter
I agree the bomb is a little confusing... but I have complete faith... I doubt this will be a ridiculously wacky game... if the pre vis is anything to go on it looks fine
grievous797
In the almighty words of Homer Simpson...WHOO HOO! And in the almighty word of the nerd...WOOT!!!!1!!!!1!! Yes, its coming out on PS2!!! Whoo Hoo!
Master Kavar
The game looks promising, but I really hope the plot gets some serious work...I mean the super secret apprentice of Darth Vader? Doesn't that seem a bit redundant?
•-BLaCKouT-•
Darth Vader's secret apprentice? Oh dear... The Force Unleashed completely re-imagines the scope and scale of the Force Landing the entire game outside the realms of established continuity it would seem? I want to be excited, really I do... But I have a bad feeling about this. B.
Q
I highly doubt it. It will come out on pc. Let's all hope and pray that it does. In full DX10 glory!
Jason Skywalker
Yes indeed, i prefer to have my almighty computer to give the game some awesome graphics than the crappy ones on the PS2, and i do not want to buy a Wii/360/PS3. Just now...
Sound
So this could be the JK4? I read on IGN this has a mutiplayer and is coming for PC also. This game has many promising things

This game has many promising things Actually, it won't be considered JK4, especially since it's set between episode 3 and 4. Remember, the JK series is set some 5-10 years after episode 6. Prime
I highly doubt it. It will come out on pc.Why do you say that? I can't think of any Lucasarts games that weren't originally announced as PC games that ported later. I would say you will never see this game on the PC. Jason Skywalker
I don't get it. Sure, people like games on the PC better, but lots of people have PS3's, 360's and Wii's right now, and not to say that everyone in general HAS a PS2!
Infinite XÆr0
I agree the bomb is a little confusing... but I have complete faith... I doubt this will be a ridiculously wacky game... if the pre vis is anything to go on it looks fine If its one thing that ive learned from keeping track of pre-release video games, especially from big companies, is that they can really afford to mislead, lie, falsely advertise, etc. Also its not always easy to determine whether the devs are making the game more for the community that they are supposed to represent, or from some convoluted design doc written up by people who either dont care about the genre, care only about satisfying their own view of the game, care only bout satisfying a quota, or only care about milking the fans for money... also, concerning the pre vis video, some of the stuff there was good, but other stuff was just... eh... somewhere along the lines over overdramatized hollywood crap, which is the last thing that i wanna see in a starwars video game
PoiuyWired
Visually great definitely, and unfortunately not for pc... no mods Sounds like a decent game, another vader's pet, well I hope no setaling of deathstar plans will be involved. Johnpp
I really hope it comes out on PC. Maybe it would come out on Wii, you know, like you slash you're saber by using the Wii remote. I dunno. But I really hope it comes out on PC. If it did I am sure the game could be flooded with mods. Not that my PC could handle it though. Ham Yoyo
I have an Xbox 360 so I'm ready for it. The 360s graphics are awesome and playing on my big screen HDTV is great. It should be a good game.
