jebbers Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 A school was locked down for a sighting of "Batman" . C'mon people. Stop being so freaked out and thinking everyone is going to blow something up. Heck for all they know the kid could be lying. Unless "Batman" was carrying an actual bomb.

It's a waste of our police force to investigate incidents where schools are closed down because someone wrote "This school will blow to kingdom come at 11:00" or "Bomb the school"...or, in this case...a guy in a Batman costume... ...Especially when it's a middle school...

Thats ridiculous...he ran across campus, jumped a fence, disappeared, and THEN they issued a lockdown? I would understand if it was an evacuation (like maybe they thought he had planted explosives since he was escaping somewhat suspiciously), but a lockdown? A lockdown locks everyone inside the school, so if it was indeed something like a bomb...boom goes the peoples.
