Rev7 Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 DVD. I wish that I had all of this high-tech equipment though... but sadly I don't.
Serpentine Cougar Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I've only got DVD. I'm waiting for either HD-DVD or Blu-Ray to become the clear winner before I jump on the 'wagon.
RobQel-Droma Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Just DVD, unfortunately. Blu-Ray would be sweet, though, I've seen the graphics.....
Rogue15 Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 i've never watched a movie on either to know the difference. -_-
littleman794 Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 DVD(technically I use my Xbox), it seems it's been a little more popular answer. remember though, it has also been out longer..so if one's DVD player (or game system)works fine, why bother buying something else?(unless your rich of course) I think they should upgrade Wii's to play DVDs... (")>.<(")
tyrone333 Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 DVD player but HD ray graphics are awesome but some of them suck. so I really own a dvd play only my brother owns Blu-Ray
adamqd Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 DVD, because the only way I could afford a poo-ray is by getting a PS3.... And that will never happen!!! 360owns
Da_man Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 I'd go with HD-DVD cuz I have an Xbox 360, but I think they stopped making HD-DVDs, so I guess this all moot point then?
Gurges-Ahter Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 I only have DVD for now - I was waiting to see who won the HD DVD vs Blu-Ray war. Now that Blu-Ray has won, I'll end up getting a Blu-Ray player soon (probably a PS3)
GwannaSauna Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I have both a Blu-Ray player* and an HD DVD player . Blu-Ray is better... *Notice I didn't say PS3
SW01 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I'm still using DVDs, and probably will continue to do so for quite a while. The new ones are just far too expensive at the moment. For example, at my local movie/music/etc. shop, a film tha costs around £7-10 may cost upwards of £20 on Blu-Ray. Now, irrespective of any graphical enhancements or special features, I find that a little absurd... However, I voted Blu-Ray in the poll by virtue of being a PS3 user. It was quite gratifying to see PS3's medium trump that favoured by the 360!
Darth Avlectus Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I have DVDs, though I'd like to give the blu-ray a shot. For now, though, I am satified with buying surplus Blu-Ray reader assemblies and turning them into purple laser pointers. CREDIT: Samuel Goldwasser and Leslie Wright http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/Blu-ray/site1/ Though I'd say more of a whitish blue.
LordOfTheFish Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 DVD. It's high enough quality for me. HD and Blu-Ray are a waist in my opinion.
SciFiGeek17 Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 I've spent too much time collecting DVD's to change now
HED Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 DVD. If I'm being honest, I don't like watching things in such a high definition like Blu-Ray provides. Everything ends up looking fake. At least, that's based off my experience with it (which mainly consists of watching Thor at a friend's house)
