You mean you're actually cool? :(

No idea, nobody has posted any coolness tests yet. :) That test only revealed that I'm a sad excuse for a computer geek, and I don't know if the two are linked. :)

Edit: @Rhett below: I guess that settles it, then. :D

Why do my posts keep getting deleted?

When did you post them? As far as I can see no posts have been deleted from this thread. Though there were database problems earlier today and they had to roll back to an earlier backup, so it's possible your posts were lost due to that.

It was yesterday. I distinctly remember myself posting this:

"I got Poser. It's probably because I'm only 13, so I haven't gotten a chance to experience some of the things on that test."

Plus I posted some other stuff on other threads... But I guess this isn't the place to talk about this, is it?

Several of mine were lost too, including one in this thread. Like stoffe said, the database went down yesterday and matt-- had to restore the data from a backup.

Anything posted between 10pm and 1am UTC -4 (EST) was lost. matt--, and I think tk102, spent several hours overnight trying to restore the data, but the database damage was bad enough that very little from after 10pm was recoverable. The fact that they got it back up and running with that little of data loss is a major achievement given the severity of the problem. --Jae

I say pshaw to innergeek test -- that's more of a general nerd test. (to which I scored 36%)

Here's a computer geek test: http://www.nerdtests.com/ft_cg.php

to which I scored an 81 (Computer High Geek)

0.0 100%. They call it God or something. But they should use a more innovative name really.

For the other Geek test, I got Major Geek. Probably cause of my enjoyment in rpg and boardgames and anime and such.

Im happy with Geekish Tendencies at 14%. If it werent for gaming and home theater setups, I'd have never learnt about pcs..and that score wouldve been halved..

I dont even know what SCA is ?? is that scouts ??

The computer specific test is obviously flawed... it said Im a "tech support nightmare" ..... I am freakin' tech support !!! :p lolz

SCA is Society for Creative Anachronism, a Middle Ages/Renaissance re-enactment group that's been around for 40 years now. It started in Berkeley, CA and is now an international group. It has chapters in the US of course, Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia/New Zealand, and I believe 2 aircraft carriers. I've been in it for 21 years now--hard to believe it's been that long. The "I framed my scroll(s)" question refers to the awards given out by the "King" and "Queen" of each region. When they "hold court", it's nearly always to give out awards for proficiency or excellence in arts, sciences, combat, or service, and I've received a few for service. My most recent scroll is huge (in keeping with the fact that the award itself was quite significant)--about 20 inches by 30 inches, requiring 2 sheets of parchment, and it was calligraphed and illuminated entirely by hand in the style of Les Tres Riches Heures du Duc de Berry. He picked that style because my 'persona', or role that I play, is from France around that time period. He knew I liked Star Wars and tornadoes, too, so he has tiny little pictures of an X-wing and a tornado on one side to go with the more serious pictures on the other side of my coat of arms, a cross, the coat of arms of the award I received, and the coat of arms of the office I served in mainly, which I just loved. It is exquisitely detailed and it's truly a work of art and a labor of love by the man who made it for me. It took him months to do it for me. I had it professionally framed (to protect it as much as display it) and it hangs in my living room with the other scrolls that Jimbo and I have been gifted.
