Ctrl Alt Del
The ship had just landed. It's lights were still on, as a mean to illuminate that dark place. Rim was carrying the orb outside, alone. Souvi had remembered to get his rusty sword on the cabin. He never got why he was always with it, since he never used it. Halfway, Souvi had just remembered that he didn't checked Sakura after the battle and went over to the Medical Room. Just for the always worried and overzealous nurse greet and turn him out. "Ms. Diwa is sleeping." She told the young lad drily. "Besides, allowing her outside where we are now is the worst of all the ideas!" "Ow! I'm sorry." Souvi excused himself. "Didn't meant to get on the way. And you're right, it's a bad idea." The nurse looked satisfied, but still wouldn't allow Souvi to come in. He just breathed and resumed his way into the cabin. Empress Padme
" Where you going ? You let a nurse stop you from visiting me. A sad day when a macho man is beaten by a nurse. Yes I escaped again but can you blame me. I'm to restless to sit still in one place. Plus I was worried about you." Sakura said as she ran to Souvi's side. DrPhil2501
In the cockpit, Randon instantly saw the Wingless Eagle make a landing at the bottom of the Gorge. The Giding Angel followed, and it too made a gentle landing a few meters away from Rim's ship. "Looks like we have arived..." said Cid. He unclipped himself from the Pilots chair, stood up a stretched after what seemed like hours in that Pilot Chair. He exited the cockpit, followed by Randon. As soon as they left the ship, they saw what was presumably the man named Rim. They saw grasping in his hand the thing the crew was after; the piece. The night air seemed peaceful, despite the aftermath of the Deth assault. Cid was the first one to speak when he walked up to Rim. "I suppose you'll be wanting your boys back... what were their name again?" "Rueban is that guy who has a bad temper." Randon added. "and I don't seem to remeber the other guy's name... a prince, or something..."
Ctrl Alt Del
Souvi had a mix of surprise and happiness on his face. Even his tired aura seemed to vanish. "You don't know Mrs. Ravenpluff. When she's determined, she makes the Deth look like a tamed breed." He kidded as he hugged her strongly. It felt good to do that. He grabbed his rusted sword and told Sakura. "We're at the mountains encircling Valmarias, and your sister's ship is out there too. Are your ready to meet her?" ______________________ "Yes, we sure do misters..." Rim said, with an abnormally calm face. "His little Majesty, the Wonderbread Prince, as well." He noticed the other crew's eyes were pointed at the shinning orb fragment. "And I know what you sirs want too." He said, rubbing the orb. "But I would like to humbly ask you to wait for the captain, he'll be here in seconds." Empress Padme
" Yes, I found myself missing her very much." Sakura rested her against his chest. " I want her with us. I hope that's okay. I know she may not want to leave but she will one way or the other. I bet the crew is waiting for you, I'd like to walk with you if tht's okay?" Ctrl Alt Del
Souvi smiled at her. It was good to see all that hatred channeled at her sister had disappeared. "I'm very happy to hear this. Besides, she looks so much like you that I probably would go rogue if you two engaged on a catfight. Come, Rim is out there and he may need some help dealing with those guys, even though he's much more diplomatic than I am." He walked over to the Cabin's exit then to the Eagle Loading Ramp. His gentle smile turned into a serious, compenetraded face as he saw the two men standing by their ship. He and Sakura standed by Rim and the orb. "Hail, you there! Nice fighting we had today, eh? Enough for a year, if you ask me... Nah, 'til tommorow I've changed my mind."
SkywalkerRules
Angel glanced up at Rueben, and held him close to her. She really didn't want him to leave. If he did... she'd be lonely without him. Angel's eyes were full of tears. Then she turned to Rim. "Sir? Are you really... gonna take Rueben back with you?" She knew it wasn't her place to ask another crew from another ship a question... but she wanted Rueben to stay. As a trainee, she had to think before she acted. But that didn't matter. After that Deth problem... would everything change? She waited for Rim's answer patiently.
Ctrl Alt Del
Rim's kind face lowered and met Angel's eyes. "That's not for me to choose, young lady." He smiled to her. "Rueben is old enough to decide things for himself..." Beside him, Souvi muttered something. Rim acknoledged. "Unless my captain says the word, I mean." Souvi looked at Angel. He did recall her from the Palace assault, her silver colored hair blending perfectly on the moons light. He bowed. Was it respectfully or ironic was left unclear. "You see, miss... Rueben is part of my crew, that is not particullary big. If he ever left, it would be the same as losing one of my engines, like fighting a Deth with a hand tied on my back." DrPhil2501
"I was under the impression he didn't like us "people" very much, after his little verbal tantrum over the Comm." Randon added. "But I don't personally care what he decides to do. All that matters right now is that bloody piece!" He eyed the shiny ball in Rim's hand. Randon didn't know much about the legend behind them, but her heard that Pieces led to some mysterious super weapon, called the spirit orb, capable of exterminating an entire species. After their encounter with the Deth, and witnessing their destruction once again, of coarse Randon would like to put an end to the invaders! Ctrl Alt Del
"To you, my hastened buddy, it may be all that matters." Souvi turned to him. "But none of your crew members and friends were, excuse me, abducted." He faced Randon a few seconds, analyzing his face. Wait, do I see Elf traits... Half-Elf, eh? Better be on my toes, he may not be a pure-blood but I'm pretty sure he can reads emotion better than I can. "There are a few things you must know about this old, blue ball here." Souvi said, grabbing the orb. "Stuff you won't know until Rueben comes over here." He glanced at his friend. Don't go crazy just yet, I've got ether! Darth Kalverys
((Ok... so my semester Exams don't start till Monday... bah... who knew... certainly not I!)) "Hmmm... I have a comprimise..." Rueben said. "How about... we join forces... it would be much simpler than having to fight each other over stupid map fragments." Wonderbread nodded in agreement. "Besides... you wouldn't be able to do anything with the fragments... it would have to be me... my sister... or my father." Wonderbread said. It was Rueben's turn to nod. The two of them both sat at the middle line... awaiting the response of both Captains.
Meowster
Errol silently stood there, looking back and forth between both of the captains, awaiting the final decision. In his mind, he was agreeing with Rueban. It made more sense to compromise, and they would need a member of the royal family- which Wonderbread was already prince. Although, while it did make sense or that reason, what of the former? They knew practically nothing about the other crew. However, extra help was always needed, adnd helpful. Errol looked at everyone, trying to guess from they're faces what they were thinking. After scouting, he waited for the responce from them, tugging at the collar of his cloak, rubbing on the satin red triangles.

"But none of your crew members and friends were, excuse me, abducted." "Abducted? Hey, it isn't our fault these guys tagged along with us! Everything just happened too quickly." Randon said defencivly. "Enough!" Cid growled at the two the both of them. "How about... we join forces... it would be much simpler than having to fight each other over stupid map fragments." "I agree..." Cid replied. "Alliances always work best. And even though we may be Pirates, we want to rid the Deth from this world! They have gone too far with their invasion and assaults, which means somebody needs to put a stop to it!"
SkywalkerRules
Angel slowly bowed her head sadly. She understood that Rueben was part of another crew. But then she felt something that she never had before... feelings for a young man. She sighed. Then she spoke through her soft-spoken voice, but loud enough for everyone to hear. "Cid's right. If we want to rid the Deth... then we must work together. I don't care about the map... I just don't want anyone else hurt because of them." The young girl turned to Solidus. "That's the main reason why I joined your crew. To use my power for good and to help the innocents from those Deth monsters." Angel looked down, trying to hide the tears. "Excuse me..." she walked back to her room, not trying to cry in front of the others... especially in front of the Captain.
steven
"You joined a sky pirate crew... to fight bad guys... thats irony for you," Solidus said before walking past her, showing signs of damage caused by the fight with the Deth. "There tenacious b*****s I'll give you that, and I want their blood for compensation for damaging my ship. And I want the treasure mentioned in this legend involving the Sky Orb and what not, however I want to make a deal.I want you to agree that once we find the sky orb and use it to defeat the Deth, we destroy it. I don't care how but once the last Deth breaths it's last breath, the Sky Orb will shatter. It's too powerful to be left in peace. I don't care about the rest of Gaia however if the Sky Orb falls into the wrong hands, there's a good chance this ship and its crew will parish. I can't allow that to happen." Ctrl Alt Del
"Okay, that was what I had on mind anyway." Souvi said to Solidus. "An Alliance. But destroying the Sky Orb? What do we know about it anyway? Already we are desperately looking for it, based on legends. Once we have it at hands we shall decide what to do with it." So most of the crew of both ships standed there, silently for what seemed an eternity until Rim broke that silence. "We need the Royal Prince to read the orb." He announced to the other crew. "But it will do us no good if it's all written on that runic language. My captain had trouble finding answers for a single rune, I wonder how much is encrypted on that language." "Don't worry just yet." Souvi replied, misteriously. "I know somebody who may be able to translate that for us... If he still remember me." Darth Kalverys
"You guys... we can't destroy the Sky Orb... if we do... then the Royal Family will perish... and since the Prince is my friend... I won't let that happen... we'll just need to hide it to where no one will be able to find it." Rueben said. Wonderbread bowed his head, then shook his head. "Not only would we be destroyed, Rueben... but all of Gaia would be destroyed. The Sky Orb is more powerful than you people know." Wonderbread said. "It... it has near absolute power." "Souvi... you don't mean HIM do you?" Rueben asked. "You and I both know that there has been bad blood between you and him ever since you met me. I don't know why... other than the fact that he LOATHES Black Mages, but that's a different story."
DrPhil2501
((Uh guys? Its called the spirit orb, not the Sky Orb )) "If we cannot destroy it, then we bury it away from civilisation. Seal its resting place to make sure it will not be discovered again." Randon implied. "Do any means necassary to make it un-reachable!" "That sounds like a plan, but I think now shouldn't be the time to determine what to do after we discover the Spirit Orb's location." Cid added "Finding it is our main priority!" "May I ask about who this person you're refering to is, Souvi? A person who can help us translate that engraved rune on the piece?"
SkywalkerRules
Angel stopped by the doorway. Hearing that if the Spirit Orb was in the wrong hands and all of Gaia destroyed... shocked her. She really wanted to do something about it... with the other crew. "Yeah. Who is the person, Souvi? If we want the legendary Spirit Orb safe, then we need to keep it out of harm's way!" Angel said, walking back towards the others. She glared down. "If those Deth get near this piece... then it's war." Angel glanced back up and sighed. What if she was wrong? Ctrl Alt Del
((Oh, PK... Sorry, I just followed Steven's post about the Spirit Orb, but you're right, it's Spirit, not Sky. Well, I think this new character will call for a description, which I'll add later. )) "No Rueben, it isn't the prince... I doubt that any Royal-person can understand Runic, anyway." Souvi assured his friend. "Long ago, on the village I was born, I had a friend - back when I trusted pople. This friend was a bit weird, people from all over the region feared him, because of his... particularities. He had...multiple personality. One was him, a guileless and meek boy, perfectly normal and the other were... Well, no one was sure what the other personality was, but the elders said something about an ancient summoner. Sometimes, he would just go around murmuring strange things and engraving strange runes on the woods. Those runes share similarities with those of the orb." He finished his rather large talking, a thing he didn't really liked to do. As he noticed pensive faces before him, he asked. "Well then? I know it's a long shot, but it's the best lead we've got to decypher it, so?"
steven
(Oh, I see how it is. "I know your skeptical type, gramps." He said, "That may be because I'm one. It may sound strange but believe me, you'll know about what I'm saying once you meet him... that is, if we do meet him." At this moment, Rim took the word. "What do you mean, captain? 'If'?" Souvi turned his head to his friend and crewmate. 'friend' will be fine... if things are like what you told me they were." Rueben looked at Wonderbread. "I take that as an INSULT!" The prince spouted off at Souvi. "You think I can't read the runes?" Rim cut his captain off, before he said something he would regret - or wouldn't, knowing Souvi. "That's why we need to meet with this person the captain has told us about.
