GUNNER Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I'm all up for posting useless crap. So count me in.
Admiral Odin Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I have nothing better to do, so why not.
Kuuki Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 WHEE!! i come up with so many good ideas... well i finished my xmas shopping. glad too, money is tight! just got to wrap it all
Zargon Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I hate wrapping stuff mostly because it takes real effort to do a *GOOD* job
GUNNER Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Just throw it in a gift bag with some tissue paper. Problem solved.
edlib Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 That's all I ever do. I even go so far as to try to find bags that are re-usable for other purposes as well... birthdays or whatever. I think I am now done with the little bit of shopping I had to do. Hooray.
Kuuki Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 heh, you guys lurk here waiting for the next guy to post???
edlib Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I'm just killing time waiting for 6:00 pm to come so I can possibly board a subway train that isn't packed to the walls with angry commuters. I'm the only person left in the building at this point. I click on my User CP every couple of minutes to see if anything has changed. Sometimes, it does. *Cue eerie music* OooooooWeeeeeeOoooooooooooooooOooooo
Keyan Farlander Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Just picked up my violin music for Christmas Eve Masses. Looks like some pretty crap arrangements, but it will net me some $$$, and I won't even have to practice it, so whatever.
K_Kinnison Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Got a christmas bonus at work today. Almost 40% of my normal paycheck (I get paid every other week) No worry right now about the economy, or losing my job Last night we had our Company Christmas dinner, I had Chicken wellington, and about 4 cocktails. All paid by my bosses. Good times, lot of fun. Best part? No big speeches I think I spent about $200 on Christmas pressies. another $100 was for myself. My kitty got some new toys too.
Cmdr. Cracken Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Ugh.... so tired of waking up early. Wednesday I have to be at work at 6:30AM. I know, most of you are laughing, but I'm not used to it and it sucks and I want to shoot myself. Roommate didn't shovel the driveway at all. This is unexcuseable. First, he has the f*****' week off. Second, he knows my back is horrible. I'd totally be less pissed if all he did was the s*** at the end of the driveway. Because the rest of it really isn't THAT HEAVY. This is the second time I've come home from work with NOTHING shoveled. At all. I downed 6 500mg pain killer tablets in under a period of 6 hours. Not doctor recommended, but I also ran out of my perscription of anti-inflammatories for my back, and haven't gotten the cash to refill it (not on insurance, so it's all out of pocket baby.... >.<). So not only am I in pain, I'm also taking potentially leathal doses of pain killers. Did take a 3 hour nap. That was nice.
Rogue15 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 work was boring today. only excitement was a customer throwing the copyright release form fillout thing back at me when i had to get a manager explain to her the copyright protection thing. i love people! only cost me $25 to fill up on gas tonight. think i'll be going out to a club or bar on friday with some friends. hopefully the weather holds out... think i'll take a trip to Target tomorrow to use my $20 gift card my grandma sent me for xmas. i get a normal paycheck on wednesday...i'm really looking forward to the paycheck after it...cause then i'll be able to pay some things off.
Admiral Odin Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Work was boring. I would not have enjoyed the day but I began thinking of fun music to play during weddings IE: Who let the dogs out as the bridesmaid walk down the aisle, and replacing the bridal march with the death march... Yes, I do believe if I'm ever married I will die on my wedding day.
Cmdr. Cracken Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I hope to marry as someone as nerdy and geeky as I. Therefore, it will seem completley normal to everyone at the wedding when the Imperial March plays after the vows and we walk out of the church.
edlib Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Crack: Go getcherself the beefiest, most epic top-fuel powered snow-blower out there; charge it to the roommate; then bring it home, and have a little "accident" with it and the roommate's groinal region while you are demonstrating the truly awesome grinding chopping power of this machine! Fortunately, my entire shopping was limited this year to the family Yankee-Swap gift, and a couple of things I bought for my best friend and his wife. Got out of it relatively cheap. My family is getting together on the 26th, actually... so I'm having dinner on Christmas day at my buddy's house. I figured I'd better not show up empty-handed. Plus: They both went above-and-beyond for me this year. It only seemed right.

edlib Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Been listening to coyotes howling all night. It's a very eerie and wrong sound to hear in the city. Happy Festivus, everybody!
K_Kinnison Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Reminds me when I took a camping trip up north. One night you could hear wolves start howling off in the distance to the west... then a reply from the far north... and another kinda South east. Practically crapped my pants when there was a howl not more then 20 feet from my tent and now I think i have the start of a cold... nice timing
Keyan Farlander Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I am eating pizza for breakfast and it is glorious.
Rogue15 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 going to target to pick up wither assassin's creed or gears of war 1. nice day out!
Kuuki Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 i'm eating english muffins for breakfast and it too is glorious
