Rogue15
yeah get back out there ed! yeah sounds cool (people saying they know a girl you should meet, etc) but lame that they weren't there for you before. I got a friend at work that's looking out for girls for me. no results yet haha. i may end up stealing my other friend's girl if he doesn't act fast. lol it's snowing today. should be a fun drive to work. it'll probably be a slow, boring day. i hope regional managers aren't there...they were going to be there yesterday or today..hope they were there yesterday cause i really don't feel like dealing with their bull****. GUNNER
Hello, my name is GUNNER... Work was boring, can't wait for the 4 day weekend. I too only get a 30 minute unpaid lunch break, but I don't do much the other 8 hours anyways so it's all good. Plus I just got off a 2 month union work strike. What else, kids are huge now, I'm still a stud and my wife is a stunner.

R15, I got a friend at work that takes a week of vacation in June every year to go to Wyoming to shot rock chuck. He goes through about 1000 rounds. They just sit in lawn chairs all day and shot crap.

edlib
ed: at least if anything, you should keep in contact, and maybe have her as a drinking buddy or something Yeah... well, I still have her numbers, and I we are still Myspace friends. But she hasn't responded to any of my online messages in a couple of days; she hasn't tried to call me; and when I do call, after a minute or so she says she is "too busy" to talk right then, but she's going to bed early, so I shouldn't call her back later. She's blowing me off, dude. I know it when I see it. It's OK. I was going to use our next meeting to talk to her about the fact that I'm going to be flat-out for the next 3 weeks, and that I probably wouldn't have any time to get together during that stretch (other than mornings/ afternoons... which are no good for her.) So she should probably keep looking for a guy who lives closer to her, and works a normal 9-5 gig. And maybe someone who is better with kids than I am. So this situation saved me an awkward conversation that was going to have to happen anyway. So I'm just not her type. She's not really my type either... but I was having a good time hanging with her. But I didn't see it ever getting really serious between us. If that was what she's looking for, then it's better that it derails here, before it gets ugly. And no: I never drink. I haven't touched a drop of alcohol in almost 10 years... and I'm not planning on ever touching another in the rest of my life. It's just a choice I made. GUNNER
Hey GUNNER. Been a while! You should hang out here more while you're busy doing nothing at work. And today just happens to be one of those days. One of the guys didn't show up so I am running his mill cutting some 777 wings and sitting on my can. Ed, sorry about the woman problems. They can be one tough cookie to understand. If I only new 20 years ago what I know now I might have had better luck picking woman. But then I might not have met the wife so I guess it all worked out. edlib
Don't sweat it. She came out of the blue, contacting me on Myspace unannounced. A recently divorced mom of 2 kids. I didn't have high hopes going in... but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway. It was fun meeting her... but I knew right away that we were really different. Like I said: Now that I've had a couple of dates, all these people are suddenly trying to set me up. While I'm a little bitter that they've all been holding out on me for years when I couldn't get a date... I'm still going to see what they have to offer. GUNNER
I dated a gal with a kid long ago who was still hung up on the kids father. She didn't know what she wanted from one day to the next and I was caught in the middle. I did learn a few things about myself back then. I still know her to this day as she works with me but at the other end of the building. She has went through a bunch of guys and treated them all the same as me. All of us old boyfriends actually laugh about the way she treated us. and we now mourn for the poor SOB she married not to long ago. She is messed up. She didn't want her husband to tell his folks the ywere getting married so as far as the parents know they aren't married. She doesn't even admit to me they got married all though a bunch of people here looked it up on the country reconds pages. She still denies it. Weird. Women..... edlib
Huh. Yeah... that is weird. There is always a lot of emotional baggage in a divorce. Or even a nasty breakup of any kind, I guess. But I'm quickly approaching 40. I'm not sure I'm ever going to find somebody at an appropriate age for me without any emotional baggage and scars. GUNNER
Well your probably right about finding a scarless woman. It just depends on how they deal with their "stuff". As long as they can control their past you should be good to go. Some women like to carry it over their shoulder and look at it constantly and wonder if it might ever change and if they should go back or if they made the right choices. Guys can pretty much adapt fairly well, girls are more emotional and it ruins and sets up the next guy for failure. Don't give up hope though...
