DarthJebus05 Posted March 18, 2008 Author Share Posted March 18, 2008 As promised, we would give updates to keep you guys informed of whats happening: Update 18/3/08 LordJedi was let go from the team, due to his limited experience in modding. Mainly in the area of restoring cut content. It was a hard decision, more along the lines on 3 hours of discussion, but we made it. LordJedi is welcome back to the team anytime after he gets more modding experience. Current WIP: -Czerka on Korriban (Waffles has added most of the NPC's, and placed them in their correct positions). -Krayt Dragon fight (Dialog is already finished, just got to get some scripts to work). -Injured Dark Jedi in the Rakatan Temple (yes, I'm still working on it. It's hard to place her lying down on a bed :\) Nothing more has been completed since the last update, so stay tuned for the next update. :EDIT: -Small Korriban restorations That has been stopped, as LordJedi was working on it. ReleaseTheTiger Posted March 29, 2008 Share Posted March 29, 2008 There was a cut option on Tatooine which lead to you being seen by the sandpeople as a messiah and you got to lead the Sandpeople in their crusade against Czerka. I'm sad this got cut because I depise Czerka, (AKA the slime of humanity)! Is this content going to be restored in this mod/ is it possible to restore this? Yes, Czerka is the 'scum of the galaxy', but your job is to find the Starmaps. And, getting the Sand People to follow you into battle against Czerka is very dark since Czerka is a multi-trillion (Actually higher but that's all I could think of) credit company, and they'll be able to afford big defensive guns. Gaffi Sticks against big defensive guns... no contest, the big guns win and the Tusken Raiders would be slaughtered. Imagine Bastila's comments! But, Czerka doesn't seem to be to worried, since there aren't actually any turrets in the city, except Yuka Laka's shop. Plus, sand people aren't supposed to attack anything as large as sandcrawlers, much less, Anchorhead. This would catch Czerka completely off guard. And the reason i suggested that the sand people clash with Czerka just outside the ankorhead gates is that i just can't see the sand people fighting inside the city. Well, it seems to me that that type of toy would be highly illegal for anybody to have... in a city. So, if Czerka had them, which I really think they would, they would have them concealed, trick walls, fake floors, whole nine yards. And, yes, there are Tusken Raiders with blasters, but what are they going to do with them? Honestly? They aren't that accurate. (Remember Ben, "no, these blast points are too accurate for Sand People...") They spend too much time yelling archaic battle cries, and how could they storm the city? It's a walled city with a durasteel gate! A Bantha's not going to be able to do much against that! Oh, and Sithspecter, any luck with the over level 20 thing? There MIGHT have been the IDEA during developement to offer the possibility to lead the tuskens against Czerka/Anchorhead/whatever. Nevertheless, to the best of my knowledge, there is nothing in-game which would give a modder anything to restore something regarding this idea - most of all voice overs of the main characters (!), which for me (!) are absolutely necessary to make a professional looking restoration/mod.
