Err...uhhh...yeah. Iron Man.

Recommended Posts

I thought it was a great movie, but sort of underwhelming. Definitely worth a second and maybe a third watch, but I was expecting a deeper storyline and lots more action. But am definitely excited for the 2010 sequel. :D

I agree with Commander, though - not as good as the new Batman franchise. The story felt pretty shallow and I didn't notice any of the deep, middle-age problems Stark was supposed to be facing. :D The climax also resembled a Transformers fight. :D

Thanks for not using the spoiler tag, jackass. :xp:

Though they messed far too much with the third one, the two first were pretty good. I still reckon Spider-Man 2 as the better movie adaptation for a Marvel hero.

X-Men 2 pwns all, and I hate, hate, hate Bryan Singer for ruining not one but two franchises, by giving X3 to Brett f***ing Ratner and by making an abysmal Superman movie only made tolerable by Kevin Spacey's usual awesomeness...

Iron Man looks pure pwnage, I wish I could go and see it...

A very enjoyable movie. Robert Downey Jr.'s performance was quite excellent. I also liked the tension/interaction between Paltrow and RDJ.

Thanks to those who advised to hang around till the end of the credits. Besides the two people I went to see the movie with there were only two other people who stayed through the end of the credits at the show I attended. More SLJ on the way. ;)

Well, finally saw Ironman today. Cool flick. One of the nice things about seeing a movie this far into its run is that there are few people to distract you with unnecessary noises. I think there were 4 or 5 others in the theatre for that showing. sweet! Didn't read all these comments, but figured there'd be an end piece after the credits finished. Forgot about SLJ as Nick Fury.

But then you miss the fanboys who dress up like ironman!!! Nothing like someone wearing a tight red shirt with a cape that shouldn't (Hmmm, think he had a cape...although Ironman doesn't have a cape so I could be mistaken, although picturing him with a cape is pretty funny). Reminded me of something you would see in a movie about a nut house. Hehe, that was one of the funniest things for me.

Was a nice treat. And if I recall correctly a few other movies in the near future will have a similar type ending leading to the Avengers movie. :D

Somehow.....I think I'll survive. :D

Well, my brother told me I should have seen the Hulk AFTER Ironman. Puts a little twist on my original understanding of the end of HULK. Yeah, he mentioned the Avengers film and follows this stuff much more closely than I would. Guess this just leaves Batman and Clones for me.
