Arcesious Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I... learned something new today, reading this thread... That being that, I learned that I do not want to become a chemist. Ever. :/
JediMaster76 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 lol, I've heard from so many people that Chemistry is hard/annoying/fails, so I can't wait to get it out of the way this year >_>
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 We think poorly of chemistry because it fails. How can blowing things up by accident be fail?
Sabretooth Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I have found by experience that Chemistry can be made x2 more interesting by thinking about sex at the same time.
Nedak Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I have found by experience that Chemistry can be made x2 more interesting by thinking about sex at the same time. Mmm.. Chemical Bonds?
Sabretooth Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Mmm.. Chemical Bonds? What's more, it makes you love those huge organic compounds, because you're now thinking of orgies. Benzene variants are my personal favourites. A close second are Double Bonds and Triple Bonds. You know you're in for fun when it's Alkenes and Alkynes on the stage.
Jae Onasi Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I have found by experience that Chemistry can be made x2 more interesting by thinking about sex at the same time. Spoken like a true teenage male.
Exile007 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Was he interesting or boring? I never minded hard, demanding teachers as long as they were interesting. I only ever gave the boring ones a hard time. I think I just realized, this is totally true. This year when I took physics, I thought it was going to be one of the most boring years of my life, seeing as how I hate science. But this year, the teacher related almost everything to: a) American Politics b) the Simpsons So it was interesting! I have found by experience that Chemistry can be made x2 more interesting by thinking about sex at the same time. Spoken like a true teenage male.
Pavlos Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 How can blowing things up by accident be fail? More correctly: How can boiling concentrated H2SO4 be fail? If the vessel explodes then the user gets melted! I miss Chemistry...
EnderWiggin Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 More correctly: How can boiling concentrated H2SO4 be fail? If the vessel explodes then the user gets melted! I miss Chemistry... Apparently it's only you and me, Pavvy. _EW_
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 More correctly: How can boiling concentrated H2SO4 be fail? If the vessel explodes then the user gets melted! I miss Chemistry... Safety is for cowards. Many of the most important discoveries ever made were made without regard for human life!
Bee Hoon Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I never thought I'd say this but I actually kinda miss chemistry:P
Sabretooth Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I never thought I'd say this but I actually kinda miss chemistry:P Maybe you can reintroduce it into med school, Bee! Nothing like a reaction between Conc. HCl and Conc. Patient! The students will love it! The hospital saves money! The patient is cured... forever!
Bee Hoon Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 ^^ Cured of life, yes:P Not cool to try it here, patients do sue. Try it on yourself first k? Then let me know how it goes:P It's all in the name of science!
Bee Hoon Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 *huggles Sabre and gives him a lolly* Not of my skull.
mur'phon Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Damn you Bee for editing, I was about to 'splain how you could do it in malay too. It involved guns and patriots:D
Sabretooth Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 ^^ Cured of life, yes:P Not cool to try it here, patients do sue. Try it on yourself first k? Then let me know how it goes:P It's all in the name of science! Trust me Bee, with that wonderful chemistric treatment, nobody will ever want to sue ever again. And if they do, make sure that the treatment was right.
