Majora's Mask > OOT, though both are just about #1 and 2 in the list of Greatest Games Ever.

i also thought Jak II and Jak 3 beat the snot out of Jak and Daxter.

KOTOR II. obviously. similiar to Loz:MM actually in several respects in that, although it wasn't as polished and perfect a package as its precursor, it was more interesting story-wise, character-wise, darker, etc. flawed masterpieces, both of them.

oh, and SSX Tricky>>>>>>> SSX.

there are certainly more, but those stand out.

Apparently not a lot of Super Metroid fans around here *looks around*
I was gonna say something about that, but I thought better of it 'cause all that'd happen is you would call me by some obscenities and then tell me to go get my Wii and and some VC points...

I'm going to have to agree with Lynk as far as MGS goes, maybe it's because I didn't play MGS when it first came out, but 3 was awesome, even before they changed the camera with Subsistence, MGS3 was amazing, boss fight with The End, awesome.

Everything at MGS3 was amzing and memorable. The Boss, the torture scene, the escape (and the dream) from the prison, the plot shining as always...

Some of mine have already been mentioned:

Bioshock. If you can count it as a sequel (with it being a spiritual successor), then, yea, Bioshock.

Half Life 2 and/or the entire series sans Half Life 1, depending on if you count expansions and episodes as sequels.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. No other game has ever made me feel like a world traveler like SA. IO nailed the environments, and, more importantly, the atmosphere in every mission. First M-rated game I ever played, and it has a lot of nostalgic value to me. Just hearing the ambiance in the sewers of St. Petersburg brings back floods of memories.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Absolutely incredible game for its time. The sheer scope of this game was mind blowing to me when I first picked it up. Oddly enough, I've still never beaten it.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The word "Modern" was a strange and unfamiliar sight.

Grand Theft Auto 4: For it's more highly developed characters and the insane amount of detail put into Liberty City.

Civilization 4: Because it's Civilization 4.

Half-Life 2 (How is it that noone said that one yet?)

Riven

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Honestly I didn't like Half Life 2 as much as the original. The original was a masterpiece, truly deserving of the classic rating it has. Half Life 2 was just... okay. It gets way to overhyped now

Riven I have to agree. It was much better then Myst was. But I still enjoy playing both

Daggerfall was infinitely superior in every way to Arena. It's entire leveling up system is still used in recent Elder Scrolls games.

Morrowind was a great sequel and still remains a personal favorite. Oblivion however wasn't that good of a sequel, it felt to simplified. To much pickup and play and the quests were way to easy. Just talk to NPC, follow the magic compass. Kill bad guys, go back to NPC, claim reward. To simple. In Morrowind I often enough had to do a lot of detective work to do a quest. Plus I had to actually search for badguys and dungeons.

TSL was a good game and a good sequel.

Dark Forces 2 and Jedi Outcast were both great sequels. Jedi Academy was to meh without mods. With mods it kind of goes toe to toe with both games

Also, Morrowind is like a Sim's game. It is impossible to beat in conventional sense since you have to do so many quests and lvl up so many times. Maybe one day someone will have completed EVERY single quest and lvled up to like lvl 500 somehow, but until then we still have to assume that Morrowind is unbeatable. Daggerfall however I already know is unbeatable do to the HUGE amount of random quests, random enemies, randomly generated area.

Need for Speed Most Wanted was possibly the best of the series. Afterward they slowly died down to the rotten pit of decay it lies in currently. But that is for another topic, Most wanted was a worthy sequel to Underground 2

Turok 2 Seeds of Evil as previously mentioned was infinitely superior to the original in every single way. It was everything the original game should have been and way more. It was less cartoony and appeared more like a modern FPS game that we know today. It is a shame that Turok 3 was far worse then the original ever was
