Losing faith in the human race.

And there's a difference between 'problems with names' and rampant ignorance and plain old idiocy. Just so you know.

But that's no excuse for the blatant ignorance of calling the President Elect Obama Bin Laden.

People can have problems with names without it being 'idiocy' or 'ignorance'. Ok, so the Bin Laden bit is pushing it, but 'Obama' and 'Osama' aren't too difficult to mix up if you have dyslexia or the like.

I have a friend who regularly gets names wrong, but he's neither ignorant or idiotic.

... even someone with dyslexia could never refer to someone they're confusing with Osama Bin Laden as the President-elect of the United States. That goes beyond any simple reading or speech disorder. Face it, referring to Barack Obama as "Obama Bin-Laden", assuming the speaker isn't a hate-monger, is plainly and simply ignorant.

Mmmk, so:

1. Don't care about your opinion, though, for the record, that had neither point nor place with what I was talking about. They're talking about Obama Bin Laden. The man with such a name, if said man exists, isn't our president elect. Therefore, they are wrong about him "getting elected". I suggest thinking before you post, 'cause, frankly, your opinion on my poetry means zero to me for the sheer fact that you posted it here.

Mmmk, so:

1. You made a blanket statement.

2. Attempting to weasel around it now won't help.

2. Don't really want friends. It's not the first thing on my list of objectives in life. But I'm pretty sure that my attitude won't lose me any companions; at least, any companions I actually care to have.

Not many, then; although somehow I can't take your claim seriously.

3. Dyslexia and dispraxics

Lawl.

are horrible, unfortunate, and are viable excuses for some circumstances, yes. But that's no excuse for the blatant ignorance of calling the President Elect Obama Bin Laden. Trying to apply that to the particular situation that Ray was attempting to defend with such an excuse as "people have trouble with names", isn't really applicable with your defense of "people can't read the same way we do."

Actually I was attacking your, as-mentioned, blanket statement.

Thanks for your time. ^_^
