There are a lot of songs on this game that I'm going to have a blast singing with my kids--Ghostbusters and Crocodile Rock are going to get a LOT of play. :D

I hate how you have to have a unique code that is printed on the box to import the songs to Rock Band 2. What I did with Rock Band 1 was buy the game used, imported the songs (still have to pay $10 or so for a code from MS) and then return the game. But since you need a code printed on the box, can't do it with used games and you can't return newly bought games. Oh well, I am not interested in this game on its own, just the setlist, so I will pass until it is really cheap.

I believe you can d/l the songs you want as dlc, but I'm not 100% sure on that. There are enough songs on the game that I want to play that buying the game will be cheaper than buying the songs separately as DLC, however.

Oh that'd be nice. The ones I want most are the Bowie and Elton ones. :D

Having played this with my entire family now, I have to say this is a really fun game! The opening sequence for the game includes a T-rex, blowing up a pirate ship, and riding a volcano into space. You get to help blow up a building and chase ghosts away with 'the power of rock'. For those who are new to the game, there's a super-easy mode that makes it a lot easier to play. There are plenty of things to unlock, and lots of great songs that are a blast to play (Ghostbusters, Crocodile Rock, Life is a Highway, etc.).

If you've steered away from this game because it's 'yet another Lego game', don't. It's a blast to play.

Meh. I've never been into Rock Band (probably 'cuz I listen to soundtracks more than rock ;)).

They'll have Lego Halo out next, the way things are going.

I'm personally hoping for Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings LEGO.
