Darth Groovy
I am gonna change the direction of this thread once again. Because I can, and because I am a prick like that. What is your favorite thing to order in a restaurant? I will go first. I have a thing for soup. I love soup all seasons of the year. The better the soup, the more I think highly of a restaurant. My first choice in soups is always Clam Chowder if it is on the menu. The Outback has a really kick ass Clam Chowder. If Clam Chowder is not available, I prefer cream soups such as Cream of Chicken, Cream of Potato, or Cream of Broccoli. I also love French Onion soup, and Broccoli Cheese soup. Also, that minestrone soup they got at Olive Garden is pretty bad ass. I even like plain old Tomato soup if you serve it with grilled cheese and ritz crackers! Soup rocks! Also when it comes to appitizers I love mozerella sticks, Bocci, Fried Mushrooms, Fried Okra, Fried Calimari, Crab Rangoon, or anything that involves some sort of deep fried cheese or sea food. One of my favorite dishes is getting harder to find these days, since the classic family style greek restaraunts are dissapearing off the face of the earth. I love Veal Parmesean. Yeah, it's baby cow. Deep fried and smothered in mozerella cheese and merinara sauce. Usually it is served over a bed of thin pasta as well. It's not an unusal dish, but it IS getting harder to find in a restaruant these days. This image is pretty close to what I am used too:
Darth Avlectus
^^^ MMMM, spaghetti. Traveling? Here are some restaurants to check out. CA restaurants: The Redwoods; Samoa Cook House. Legendary Breakfast and excellent lunch. Not a restaurant but: Katy's (world famous) Smoked Salmon--something like that. You'll never look at fish the same again. Near that is a restaurant that serves up lumberjack (HUGE) sized pancakes. Breakfast till noon I think. Skiing or snowboarding in or near tahoe; Chris' Cafe--Calamari burger, also an excellent place to have breakfast. Do bring an appetite, though. Burger Lounge: Cajun burger, Avocado heaven, Back'n'blue (similar to cajun but with some tangy bleu cheese instead of pepper jack), chili burger & chili fries. Again, bring your appetite. Izzy's: Mushrooms and swiss burgers with an order of frings. Or chili dogs. Maybe you'd like pepperjack cheese, swiss and onions? Can do that too. Nice stop. Sprouts: organic new age vegetarian based food. Restaurant, cafe and store. While I'm not a vegetarian, it has gotten me to look at it in a more accepting way. Great stuff. Near Heavenly resort (where Bono got killed): Scusa's, italian food most people CANNOT eat in one sitting. Expands and feels like lead after--true to this type of food. Too good. House of Jerky. AZ and southern central CA to my knowledge. Spend some $$$, leave happy. I can assure you. Nevada bound: Carson City: El Charro Avita, authentic mexican cuisine. Voted one of the best mexican food restaurants by, I think 10-20 different magazines, newspapers, periodicals, etc. Never once dissatisfied. Reno: Joe's Diner--real 50's style. Southern NV trucker stop near north Las Vegas (a ways out, but still near): There is a real nice dual building of a small casino and diner. Steak 'n' eggs w/ shredded hash browns. Worth every penny. New Mexico: I don't remember the name or where exactly, just that this mexican restaurant was 'out there' on a scenic 3 hr route in a new age shopping NM center. Off a main road drive (Route 66?) in the central to west side if I'm not mistaken. Excellent mexican food, just the right combination of spicy and tasty that keeps you coming back for more. Hey, my track record so far is producing a male heir 100% of the time! So newborn baby uncle would be more correct.

Darth Avlectus
Wow, UK doesn't have Lucky Charms? Too Irish or something? (I'm gonna bet they don't have them in Ireland either.) (actual product may have varied) I used to love Sour Cream & Onion Chex Mix but I haven't seen it around in years. The best they have now is cheddar, and that gets old after awhile. Of course their best flavor had to be the one that was discontinued. O_O Holy F***, I didn't realize it even came in that flavor. I'm pissed. I missed out on it. Helly F***in' yeah they have a tendency to discontinue the best flavors of stuff. Case in point: Chilli Cheese flavored Cheez-Its. Does *anyone* here remember those a few years ago? Ah man, I got a box of them every chance I got. Which was only 4 or 5 b/c they were only available 3 months. Those bastards at Sunshine act like they don't know what I'm talking about and act like it never existed. >=^{

Darth Avlectus
You mean those bastards at Keebler? I blame the elves. Oh? Uh, well yes, actually. Thanks for the info. And you also posted mothers cookies below that? I have bad news: Mothers cookies went out of business in february. (Just in case nobody knew!) So you'll never see any "Mother's" brand goodies again. I got one of the last bags of circus animal cookies, ever. Took one each also of chocolate, ginger snap, iced oatmeal, and those very same Lemon cookies too. Bummer they died out. Rogue Nine
A sandwich filled with four cheeseburgers, a double cheesesteak, a chicken cheesesteak, gyro meat, grilled chicken, bacon, sausage, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, chicken nuggets, mac n’ cheese bites, fried mushrooms, jalapeño poppers, pizza bites, onion rings, hash browns, American cheese, mayo, and ketchup on two rolls.
