Astrotoy7
I know there are a few Beastie Boys fans around LFN, so thought I might post this. The Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch (MCA), made a recently staing that he has been diagnosed with cancer affecting a gland in his neck Apparently he requires surgery immediately to prevent it from spreading, and will be going under the knife next week. He well then require radiation therapy The (relatively) good news is that docs expect him to make a recovery and that his vocal chords shouldnt be affected. Of course, radiation therapy isnt pleasant, so may postpone any return to performing in the near future. The youtube post was to apologise to fans for having to cancel upcoming shows. So best wishes to MCA on behalf of all B-Boys fans, and hopefully he'll be back soon doing more of this type of stuff.. Q
The Beasties have been around since I was a kid, which was, well, a long time ago. Like them or not, there's no denying their rather unique style. I wish Adam the best.
