Mandalore The Shadow
I'm looking for some new bands to listen to they dont have to be New but ones I've never heard before. Also I wouldn't mind individual song names. I don't like Country, Rap, or Death Metal so keep that in mind. So what kind of stuff do you listen to? ForeverNight
THE HORROR!!!!!!! Anyways, if you're in the mood for more of an old-school feel, I'd suggest Yes as a band. They're pretty varied with their sound, so listening to them as an artist doesn't get super boring as it does with some people. Plus, you can usually find albums in a used music store relatively inexpensively, I know I found a few for 4.95USD where I live.

Sabretooth
@Sabre: National Socialist Black Metal isn't a real genre, more a way of describing a black metal band that promotes National Socialism. Depends on how you define genres, I guess. A kind of genre-cult has developed around Nokturnal Mortum, enthusing East European folk with raw black metal to create something of a mildly distinctive NSBM sound. But yeh, just one of the five million metal descriptors.

purifier
You know Type -o- Negative has got a unique sound. There's two songs that I really like made by them: "September Sun" and "Love You to Death" I guess they fit into the Gothic Rock genre, I'm not really sure about that. Anyway, all I know is I really like some of their music, not all of it though. Oh, and Rob Zombie has a few songs that are pretty good as well. "More Human than Human" and "Feel so Numb" Hmmm, can't think of anymore right now.
The_Catto
Motley Crue and Metallica. Bon Jovi. The Living End. Chickenfoot. Red Jumpsuit Apparatus also have some good songs.
