Fastmaniac Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Like the idea, but: We already have these projects. If you want a Kotor III go check out Kotor: The Jedi Masters or Kotor: Revenge of Revan. It's a lot easier to build a new plot into one of the existing games than to create a new game. And many people have been pointing at the cancellation of such projects because the team is not working anymore. Additionally: This is something you wanna invest at least a few years into. Especially when you don't have a team of developers sitting in one office working 8 hours a day. So again: It's a nice idea and I like the way you think, but I think most people can just enjoy Revenge of Revan or Jedi Masters for now. Fastmaniac EDIT: I see you're developing pretty good. Hope to hear more of this soon
SITH LORD 872 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 I like all the points you made, The biggest being Where did Revan go?, All we get to see is a hologram image of Bastila saying he went somewhere but no one knows where?
mattig89ch Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 you could take the original feats then add a few of your own. it would help the player to know what he/she was doing right from the get-go, instead of learning your system.
VarsityPuppet Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 An interesting project indeed... though I would really consider adopting a different story, not a Kotor3 fan-game.
Darth InSidious Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I want to simplify it, leaving only feats (force powers included). For example, Toughness would have 3 levels and would affect character's health, while Empathy would indicate his ability to persuade and haggle. You had me kind of half-interested up to here. KotOR's combat system is already pretty simplified. Not interested in a JRPG, sorry. And, like VP, I'm not much impressed by the storyline/plot proposed here.

Sir Vougalot Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Uh, one question: How can you say your drawings are of the "canonical" main character if it's a character that you created, having no recognition from Lucas Film whatsoever? I think you're confused as to the meaning of "canonical." [Edit] Never mind, looks like you fixed it.

christos200 Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 will this have shops were you can buy health packs and other things? are there going to be party members? also does the character have a starship or something like that?
Sabretooth Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I just want to add that I, for one, have long dreamed of a KotOR-style JRPG.
DarthJacen Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Does the Nintendo Entertainment System come with this game?
Darth Avlectus Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Does the Nintendo Entertainment System come with this game? Yes.
